Anita greeted us with a big smile and offered many great tips to make our visit to Dubrovnik a pleasant one. The room was spotless and very well equipped. The grounds surrounding the hotel were very welcoming. Located across the street is a food market, bakery and a great restaurant and just around the corner (a short walk) a line of restaurants and bars with Lapad Beach topping the area off await you.The spotless promenade overlooks Lapad Beach and leads you to the Cave Bar and More Hotel which as a guest of Villa Filaus is at your disposal…a great place to have a cool drink and swim after touring Old Town Dubrovnik. Great job Villa Filaus!

We spent three nights in villa Filaus , it was amazing and rewarding. Short walking distance to beach and seaside from hotel, we enjoy swimming and sunset! Lots of restaurants to choose for the excellent local cuisine. Take couple of minutes walking to bus station and 10 minutes you will be arriving Dubrovnik! We got three days pass and living like local ! Anita , thank you so much for helping us start our long waited journey to visit Dubrovnik!

We spent three nights in villa Filaus , it was amazing and rewarding. Short walking distance to beach and seaside from hotel, we enjoy swimming and sunset! Lots of restaurants to choose for the excellent local cuisine. Take couple of minutes walking to bus station and 10 minutes you will be arriving Dubrovnik! We got three days pass and living like local ! Anita , thank you so much for helping us start our long waited journey to visit Dubrovnik!

Very nice place. Easy to find. Walking distance from the bus stop. The place has been renovated and it’s awesome. The breakfast options are nice. You are giving two places to have breakfast. The first one is a 3 min walk (3 star hotel) or 15 min walk (5 star hotel).

Lovely oasis in the city. Receptionist very helpful, room a nice size with really comfy bed and pillows plus efficient a/c. As a villa, room service isn’t daily but a couple of times in the week was enough plus if you do need anything, they’ll put in an extra visit. Pool small but quiet and clean - plus you can go to the 5* sister hotel ‘More’ for full sized pool or sun bed terrace on the seafront which is lovely. Only thing not nice was the breakfast, at a nearby hotel - that wasn’t worth getting up for so we popped over to supermarket with its fresh bakery for continental with daily super fresh rolls and croissants - there’s a decent fridge in room. To be fair, I only mentioned this on penultimate day so no chance for them to rectify and receptionist was hugely apologetic however it wasn’t really a big deal and didn’t mar our stay. Location is convenient for a myriad bars and restaurants but not on main drag and is a 40 min walk from old town (or couple of mins on very frequent and late finishing bus route 6). Definitely woukd return.

Anita à l'accueil de la villa est au petit soins avec ses clients et quelqu'un de très agréable avec plein de bons conseils. Villa bien équipée et très agréable avec son jardin calme. Restaurant et promenade a moins d'une minute à pied. Vieille ville à 35 min à pied mais l'arrêt de bus pour y aller directement est juste a coté. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour !
