Adita and Ivan were very helpful. It is a beautiful boutique hotel inside the palace area. My room was so beautiful , clean and comfortable. The wall in the bathroom was stone, so that was unique. The bathroom was large. The floor in the room was very unique and cool looking. There was also nice wood furniture and wood paneling. Oh and a very cool glass chandelier. I had never seen anything like it. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. I was sad to leave.

The hotel was a 5 room hotel in a convenient part of town. There were shops, restaurants, historic areas within walking distance. The hotel manager and staff made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed! I highly recommend this hotel!

This place was amazing. It’s beautiful and in an excellent location. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Ivan made restaurant recommendations that we could never have found on our own- one that was away from the tourist area and was so special. They really made our trip easy and memorable! Highly recommend!!

We highly recommend this accommodation. The hotel is historic, charming, and in a quieter section within the palace walls. We stayed outside the walls the first couple of nights and then stayed within the walls. It's quite special to wander around in the evening, not worry about traffic, and return to this property. The best part of our stay is Edita and Ivan. They are welcoming, courteous, helpful and provide the small touches that make Split so wonderful.

Breakfast was wonderful, fresh orange juice and a good selection to chose from. Very friendly and attentive staff. Air conditioning was comfortable. Loved the room, very elegant.Beautiful chandelier. Never seen a hair dryer come with a case and both were the same color.

Our stay was amazing! I have no complaints. Room on first floor was roomy and elegant. The staff were very friendly, respectful and accommodating. The hotel was in perfect spot in old town. We appreciated the help carrying our luggage from the parking lot to the hotel. Out of 3 hotels we’ve experienced, only Hotel Cardo helped with our luggage. Transportation cannot drop us off right in front of hotels in old town in Dubrovnik, Split and Zagreb. Have to walk to the hotels with our luggage. Thank you Edita, Ivan and Dino for all your help.

Excellent hotel. We arrived by bus and were able to arrange with the hotel for a pickup at the bus station. Ivan then greeted us and walked us the rest of the way to the hotel. Our room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. If you are interested the hotel has the ability to book dinner reservations or city tours. The hotel is very close to everything and the surrounding areas are very easy to navigate. You are walked to breakfast around the corner which was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Split.

We were well looked after from the moment we arrived. Communication with staff before our arrival was great and there was always somebody available if we needed help or advice about planning trips while we were there. The room was beautiful and the hotel is right in the heart of the old town so we were near restaurants and cafes. It was also very peaceful through the night. Delicious breakfast in the small quiet courtyard was a perfect way to start day.

I recently stayed at the Cardo Hotel and had a genuinely lovely experience. The hotel is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and get around without hassle. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful without being overbearing. They really added a personal touch to the whole experience. The room itself was beautiful, blending comfort with charm. I especially appreciated the historic features of the building, which gave the hotel a unique character you don’t often find in more modern places. There were also thoughtful personal touches throughout my stay that made it feel more special and considered. Overall, I would happily stay here again and would recommend the Cardo Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and character-filled place to stay in a great location.

Where to start? Everything was amazing. The staff could NOT have been any more helpful. The room was amazing - perfect temperature throughout, lovely bathroom. The location was beyond belief - as soon as you leave hte hotel you're virtually at the temple of Jupiter it is all so central. The breakfast was also incredible - so much, so much choice and all fantastic. Can't recommend the place or Ivan and Edita enough.
