The place is family-owned and run, so you can meet the owners. The room was super clean and it had everything I needed, they even provided me beach towels. It is just like 5-10 min form the centre, so it is very well located. I will recommend it

Vila Lacman is a family run small boutique hotel on the hillside west of the castle (Foritca), and just above the beach club. A short walk to the square (Trg) and the port (luka) of Hvar. we discovered you can take a long set of stairs straight up to the road the hotel is on (a difficult hike with luggage ) or walk along the harbor front go right past the cafe up a short set of stairs to a walkway that goes behind an old church tower. An easy route that is very panoramic too. The room was small, but very reasonable, a lovely balcony with a partial view of the bay. Downstairs was a cabana type kitchen we used to make a lovely dinner from food purchased at the local market. We dined on the patio in front of the kitchen under vines and lime trees that were very peaceful. The grocery store, a few hundred feet up the street, includes a second-floor restaurant with excellent foud and sunset views.

Merci pour le séjour, la propriétaire était très accueillante et disponible. Le lieu est très intéressant pour aller visiter la vieille ville de Hvar à pied mais aussi facilement accessible en véhicule pour l'arrivée. Une cuisinette est disponible pour se préparer des repas

Our stay was great for a few days! Great view from our smaller balcony! Had a fridge !! Hvar has quite a walk up the hill and steps ! We enjoyed our stay! We were welcomed on arrival !

This place was absolutely beautiful, the view was outstanding we didn’t know how the room and view would be but it turned out amazing, the host was such a sweet lady and kind- definitely recommend staying at her place and will be coming back to stay with her again.

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Lacman, the room was clean, light and airy. There was everything you would need in the kitchen and there was cold water in the fridge when we arrived, which was very well received. It is close to a supermarket which has an amazing restaurant above, we ate there twice. Quite a hike up from the port but well worth it. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever in Hvar. The Lacman family were lovely hosts.

Very nice property and as matches the photos and descriptions. The cleanliness was impeccable and the ladies were very generous.There is a shared kitchen space where you can cook you own meals and that was very convenient for us. Overall the stay was very pleasant and I would not hesitate to book it again if I ever visit hvar.

We had wonderful time at Vila Lacman. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They gave us useful information not only about town Hvar but about whole island. The premises were clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We like location and free parking. We were able to walk to the town, beaches and grocery stores.
