A great stay at this hostel, staff were friendly and it was well kept. Nice kitchen facilities and they also have luggage storage. Excellent central location and also a nicely social hostel too

My stay at Ahoy Hostel was absolutely wonderful, mainly down to the incredible staff - shoutout to both Katie’s! The location was right in the heart of Prague which is super convenient. If you’re looking for somewhere to party you’re in the right place. There are daily parties going on with pre-drinks and the host will take you out on the town for a bar/club crawl which is class! Many thanks to all the lovely people there!

If youre looking for a genuine hostel experience, i would absolutely recommend this. This is the best hostel ive ever stayed at for socializing. This place is ideal if you want to meet people and have fun. The hostel staff was accommodating and friendly, especially petr, who even came out with us one night to the club. Every night there were drinking games set around a large table, making it very easy to make friends with drinks available at a reasonable price. I discovered that many of the people staying there were backpackers or solo travelers. The hostel is in a great location, everything we needed was close by, and we never had to use public transportation to get around. The rooms are spacious, the beds are fairly comfortable, and there are large lockers available (you need your own padlock. Toilets and showers are fine, there was sometimes a line to shower in the morning, but you can avoid it fairly easily if you dont go during peak hours.

I had a great time at this hostel! The location is ideal, you can walk to everything. The friendly volunteer organized drinking games in the evenings to get to know each other better (anybody wanted to join) and later we would go to a bar and club for 8 euros entry. The only drawback i noticed was that you couldnt pay with a credit card, but you could pay with euros, so that was fine eventually. Many thanks for this fantastic hostel!.

Stayed in the 8 bed room, had a top bunk, bed didn’t squeak or make noise at all which was great! Bottom bunks had privacy curtain, top bunks don’t. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location. Would stay here again

Amazing hostel with 1st class service from the lovely ladies. Also get everyone involved to take part in social drinking games and pub crawl each evening. Prime location in Old town where every attraction is 6 minutes away. Also easily accessible to Metro and high street shopping area.

I really enjoyed the hostel! The location is ideal, its close to narodni trida and basically everything you need, whether its the metro to the airport, pizza after midnight, a walk across the river, or a nice karaoke bar where you can pass by in the evening. There are also coffee shops nearby if you need to work remotely, as i did. Katie, who was amazing, welcomed us right away and gave us the best energy, even though we were a little worn out. Be aware that there are some stairs when you arrive, so if you have luggage, you should prepare yourself on your way to the reception. Be aware that the hostel only accepts cash! However, we were able to pay afterward even though we didnt have cash when we arrived. Apart from that, the place was very clean, the bathrooms included, and the room we booked was large, so it didnt feel like we were there with other people at times. You have large lockers, and because ours was small, they even assisted us with a lock from reception for free. The beds have curtains, so we barely saw anyone else. It felt safe, and it was quiet most of the time, i could only see young people around. The only downside, in my opinion, was that it felt too silent. Based on the reviews, we expected to meet a lot of people and have that hostel vibe, but it was the opposite. I wouldnt say it was the hostels fault, they even had a drinking games night prepared when we arrived, but i assume we just ended up in a quiet room. But the hostel is so central that you barely spend time inside!.

We stayed at this hostel a few weeks ago and it was a great choice. The reception staff is nice. Always ready to chat and advise local tips. The rooms are large, with a splash room. Nice and clean. With a simple breakfast and family cooked dinners. Great place for real backpackers.

In the center of downtown prahaha! If you intend to travel in and out, the hostel is a great place to stay. The location is unparalleled! Regarding the rooms, they might use some tlc. Unsteady beds especially if you are staying in a dorm, and loud lockers. I hope the next person has a better experience than i did. Prague is incredibly stunning!.

We are biking all over the world. The owner of the hostel was very helpful in allowing us to fit our bikes in our room. The hostel was beautifully clean and the room was spacious. I highly recommend ahoy hostel as a place to stay in prag.
