Perfect stay in the center of Prague, located right in the Old Town Square. Many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Room was clean and had air conditioning. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. My only note is that there are many stairs to get to the hotel room with no elevator. Depending on your room you could have to go up and down a few flights of stairs.

What a marvelous place! So unique and beautiful and extremely convenient. Right in the center of Old Town and across from the Astronomical Clock. I loved navigating the maze of stairs to get to our room every night. Our room was a small apartment and so homey to stay there. The stairs were difficult for my 74 year old mother but even she loved staying there. To get to her room we had to go up/down 3 flights of stairs. I do believe they have an elevator in the other building so double check if this concerns you. Our bathroom was completely updated and had great water pressure in the shower. Such a perfect stay!

My stay at the Grand Hotel Praha was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality, professional service, and attention to detail provided by the entire staff. The hotel is beautifully maintained, combining historic charm with modern comfort in a way that makes every guest feel special. The room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly appointed, with breathtaking views that made the experience even more memorable. Every aspect of the stay exceeded my expectations—from the comfortable accommodations and excellent amenities to the delicious breakfast and outstanding customer service. The location is perfect for exploring Prague, with many of the city's most iconic attractions just steps away. Returning to the hotel each evening felt like coming back to a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. What truly sets the Grand Hotel Praha apart is its commitment to creating an unforgettable guest experience. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met with genuine care and professionalism. What a beautiful hotel! The breakfast is wonderful also. It is right across the way from the famous Astronomical clock. We enjoyed that but the area can get very very busy. The windows are doubled so it was relatively quiet.

This hotel is a very special, unique hotel, right in front of the Astronomical Clock. It doesn’t get any better than this location. It was a magnificent stay in the Apostolic Suite. But, there are some issues with access to this suite and other suites in this building as well. It’s all upstairs in a separate building from the main part of the hotel about 50 yards away with no elevator. So, if you have mobility issues then this is not a good choice. Also, inside the suite, our bathroom has stairs to get to the shower and toilet. Otherwise, this large suite is a romantic, gorgeous room with several windows that open to the square. There’s no coffee/tea maker which is unusual for something this grand. There is a quaint restaurant in the main hotel that is where breakfast, lunch, and dinner is offered. The breakfast buffet needs some improvement, there’s only one coffee machine when there should be minimum two, and the offerings are less than other hotels of this caliber. It was a wonderful experience staying here in this hotel but I will also add that being it’s right in the square where vehicles are not allowed. It’s quite a ways to walk with large luggage on cobblestone, about 300 yards from the taxi cab stopping point. There are so many options to eat right outside your door that are fantastic. This is a very busy location but for us it was very special location as well. Grocery markets are close as well. I would definitely recommend and consider staying here again.

This is a great hotel in the best location in the old square - right across from the astronomical clock. You can have breakfast while looking right at the clock. This is an older building, but well maintained. Walking distance to all the main attractions. The rooms were clean and staff friendly.

Helt fantastisk beliggenhed til prisen. Rengøringen kunne være bedre. De gjorde kun det ene glas rent flere dage i træk, og glemte at tage rengøringsklude med. Så virkede til at det gik lidt for hurtigt. Men super hyggelige værelser og virkelig gammel stil. Vil klart komme igen hertil.
