I had never before stayed in a hostel before, I am 19 from Italy, and I do not understand how so many people can be spoilt enough to complain about this hostel. I stayed here in 2021, the only thing I can complain about is that the kitchen only has a fridge, a microwave, and a sink. The hostel montana has some of the best places I saw on my trips. I stayed in the city center of prague in 2019 and although that was also a good hostel, I risked being scammed too many times. The center is full of tourist traps, such as exchange points that offer 17 crowns for every euro instead of 25, and shops and restaurants who overcharge you with mandatory tips. The hostel montana's position is not too far from the centre, but it has a really good restaurant and an equally good pub just outside the door that charge you the right prices, there is a minimarket close to the restaurant and another near hradcanska metro station, it is 10 minutes on foot from both hradcanska metro station, and many trams near the stations. Bank, ofc, pharmacy, and numerous small pubs are all less than 10 minutes on foot. The airport is 30 minutes away, 20 minutes on public transportation, a tram and bus, and the city center is less than 10 minutes away and you can choose to go
