Excelente experiencia, desde la llegada hasta la salida todo el personal en general muy amable desde que llegamos nos recibieron con mucha amabilidad, todo muy limpio, la comida excelente, los chicos del bar de la picina principal son muy amable todos, casi que habia perdido la esperanza en los hoteles de Dominicana pero este me hizo cambiar de opinion, el hotel esta bien organizado me encanto que todo esta bien distribuido la piscina, la playa, los restaurantes todo esta cerca y no se requiere de largas caminatas, puedes disfrutar de la piscina y la playa ahi todo cerquita, el hotel es excelente para toda la familia en general, cenamos una noche en el restaurant Brasileno y fue excelente, buena comida,el Manager muy atento y amable, nos trato fenomenal , los chicos de animacion tambien hacen un buen trabajo. Definitivamente este es un hotel que vale la pena visitar nuevamente.

This is a great way to travel with kids and adults with different dietary needs. Everyone had a wide choice of food to eat at every meal. Plus there is always something to do. Beautiful beach and well kept grounds. The room was spacious, the bathtub and shower large and full of a lot of hot water. Limited outlets for electronics. Staff very nice and accommodating. Activity leader for kids was a great teacher and so sweet.

The staff were very friendly and respectful. I have to say that the rooms need an update specially the bathrooms. The food was also really good. All activities were fun and the beach was incredible.

Our family had an amazing stay at Bahia Principe El Portillo, and I want to highlight the people who truly made our vacation special. Kids Entertainment: My daughter Victoria absolutely loved the activities! A huge thank you to Luisairis, Beba, and Dominga — they are incredibly warm, energetic, and creative. Every day Victoria ran to them with a smile, and we always felt she was safe, engaged, and genuinely happy. For my son Daniel, the entertainment team was fantastic as well. Special thanks to Victor Calois and Barron for their positive energy, fun games, and personal attention. They created a great atmosphere for older kids and made Daniel feel included and confident. Spa Experience: We also visited the spa, and it was wonderful. Esther and Gricel provided excellent service — very professional, gentle, and attentive. After the treatment we felt relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend! Overall, the hotel has a great family-friendly vibe, clean territory, beautiful beach, and an amazing team that really cares about guests. We are grateful for all the moments they helped create for our children. Would love to return again!

Bar needs to be improved cocktails are too sweet they use sugar stead the real ingredient to prepared drink. Example I asked for a long isla ice tea, they didn’t use the real ingredient to make the drink I returned because it was too sweet. Not quality drinks, however I don’t think the bartender have the necessary ingredients.
