Everyone there was extremely helpful and always pleasant. Carlos was one of the best, and there were many! The room has a beautiful rounded balcony, and you can hear and see local talents singing and playing a violin or other instrument. Never loud, just right to give the right atmosphere. The location is EXCELLENT, with the Catedral and Plaza de Colon right in front. A block away is the stand where you can take the "chu chu train" around the Colonial part of the City. The famous Pantheon is a 5 or 10 minute walk. The restaurant downstairs is good, especially for lunch or dinner. Try their chorizo in wine and their hot chocolate. ¡Divino!

I recommend clearly informing guests what is and isn’t included in the breakfast. Although it was already paid, we were charged extra for items like a small milk and an additional coffee, which we assumed were included

This hotel has the best location in the area, right in front of parque Colón and the cathedral, is right by a strip of restaurants and entertainment. I stayed at the superior room with a balcony overseeing the palace and the calle el Conde is right next to it. The room is beautiful but the has no elevators, there’s a lot of stairs, doesn’t include breakfast, and the room has no coffee maker but there’s a famous restaurant in the first floor. Is also very affordable for how emblematic this hotel is.
