The price is very reasonable. The host was very polite and the room is nice with hot water and balcony. The small kitchen is not clean, and the windows are bad because the car just happened to be flying past.

We spent two weeks here and had a wonderful experience. Our private room had a big comfy bed and a shower in the bathroom. Not with a suicide electric head, the shower has real hot water, and the hot water is consistently flowing. We spent a lot of time looking out over the traffic and people below our balcony and lying in bed. We frequently cooked dinner in the good kitchen of a hostel. In case you're searching for it in the photos, the gas stove is in a tiny room next to the kitchen. This is not a party hostel, but the ground floor typically is packed with reception, dining area, and lounge. We were on the upper floors, and it was mostly quiet. On the first weekend we were there, a party pub up the street blamed music until am, but things were mostly peaceful the following two weeks. Our price for such a lovely room was very cheap, and it was the best price I've ever seen for a private room with a private bath in America. The proprietor and staff are incredibly nice folks. If you can deal with that party pub on weekends, I strongly recommend this place for couples or families.

We would return to this place. We stayed there a few times while we were in the bank and had a variety of rooms. We had excellent double rooms on the first floor with windows and private bathrooms. The mattresses were adequate, and the rooms were clean and peaceful. The price was reasonable for the last stay on the ground floor next to the kitchen. Only windows to the room next door to the oven. We prefer the upstairs rooms, though this one is fine for a brief stay. The kitchen is spotless, with excellent amenities, and the proprietors cook there. The staff is really pleasant, the laundry service is satisfactory, and they also have a rooftop terrace with hammocks.
