It was a very pleasant stay. Paola accomdated us in the balcony view room . We extended for three more nights because we liked it so much away from the crowds of Montenita. The beach in the little town is amazing.

We stayed in this cute and well hospitality family hotel. Was clean, queit, hot water, AC, and great breakfast. Paula was there to answer all our qeastions and help us with recomndations and information. Its deffently a place to stay and enjoy both quiet and party montanita (30 mins walking or 3 mins by taxi or bus from montanita).

It was great, in Ecuador you got to be careful how you book a room for one person; Buddha permit you bring another person they will try to give you a hard time; luckily the lady at the front desk; was nice enough to let us stay; without charging me. She was going to. After all was great and very convenience, Ah, one more thing make sure they turn the boiler for your hot water. Even thou is Ecuador; but I stay in winter; a little chill.

We had a lovely time at Puerta Sol Inn. We enjoyed days on the beach in Montanita and were glad to come home to peace and quiet in Manglaralto at night. Wendy and the team at Puerta Sol were always kind, respectful and offered excellent- above and beyond service. The rooms were very clean, food was good and wifi worked pretty well. FYI- the hot water was backwards in our room (right was hot). Looking forward to visiting again!

With my son, I had planned to stay in this hotel for 5 nights, but after finding it to be extremely pleasant, I agreed to stay another 5 nights. The location was immaculate, and the breakfast was superb. The coast was minutes away, and along the Pacific Coast, it was a pleasant stroll into the booming and lively montana town. The crowded, well-known surfing area a few hundred yards past the town was more tranquil, with terrific beach bars and restaurants. A few hundred yards away was a great sushi and thai fish restaurant that were both located on the same area and were worthy of mention. Given the beach, the food is outstanding. A little further away, there is a savannah bar that provides an amazing five-course barbecue on Friday night. The hosts are a Swedish and an argentine pair. Planning a few miles further along the coast could take you there, this was a much more opulent beach with a lot more space and not much of commotion. On the beach, there are still many delectable beverages and restaurants of high caliber.

Overall, we strongly recommend this location and would return. My husband and I stayed at the Puerto Sol Inn for four nights and were impressed by Wendy and her staff's warmth! Breakfast was delicious, and our room and the surrounding areas of the hotel are clean, secure, and well-kept. The beach is less than a block away, and the constant sound of the surf hitting the beach was a great way to fall asleep at night. Up the street is a gringo bar james, where some of the friendly local expats gather. They are a wonderful bunch of people, and it's been enjoyable to have them share their experience and wisdom of the local area over a few beers.

The host wendy's warmth and helpfulness unpleasantly pleased us. She is the consulate host, and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well-taken care of. Margarita is about a 15-minute stroll from the hip town of Mantanita. At first, we planned to stay there and were happy to have chosen this hotel away from Mantanita's rumbling. The water in our room was hot and the shower strong. Breakfast was served with various items that we really enjoyed. The town itself has a great crew. Overall, it was a fantastic location to stay. I heartily recommend it!.

In general, it was a terrific stay, which is why I give it five stars. At this inn, I recently had the pleasure of staying for four nights. The point is Wendy is outstanding. She was always accessible if I needed assistance with anything and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a wonderful stay. The room was tidy and cozy. It is in a prime location near the city center and beach. I liked the daily breakfast. However, there are drawbacks to the slow wifi, but I doubt youll do much better in Manglaralto. If you are staying on a higher floor, the absence of an elevator could have adverse effects on some people. I was near the top, but it wasnt a big deal since I needed the exercise.

We stayed in a group and had a top floor which was difficult to climb up with luggage but worth it for the view and hearing the ocean so close by. Paula was our welcoming hostess and we all loved and appreciated her accommodating us so well and making us feel so welcome! It's a well-designed place and we are glad we were chosen to stay there. Thank you to everyone.

Paola & her staff were very accommodating & efficient. Breakfast & coffee were very good. The bed was comfortable & we had great view from our terrace. Very few dining options other than seafood but the ceviche was great.

Nancy and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property is very quiet and tranquil. WiFi was poor, breakfast adequate and hot water a challenge at times. But the rooms were clean and service excellent. One block from the beach, a small village with limited but sufficient amenities for a short get-away from the madness and noise of Montanita! Thank you Nancy!
