They saved my life. This expression is often used as a form of speech, but on this occasion, it isn't. The hotel's proprietor, Mercedes, felt as if we were family after succumbing to altitude sickness. Marlene, the spa manager, went out of her way many times to take care of me and was by my side as the red cross intervened. Patricia was invaluable because she speaks fantastic English and was able to translate and explain what was happening to me. The hotel staff was as concerned about me as my husband was. Mercedes employees looked for ways to make me more comfortable and remarked when I was able to recover. Above all, I can highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, attention to detail, and friendly hospitality. We were able to organize our meetings with our group with efficiency and professionalism thanks to the outstanding shantidham staff. The views were breathtaking, and the amenities were plentiful. A weekend is not enough for the hotel or you as a whole to do justice to the hotel or to yourself. However, if that's all you have, spend it here and leave exhausted

The hotel is incredibly lovely, and the employees and proprietors are excellent and pleasant! Before and after our trip to the Galapagos Islands, my husband and I remained at the hotel, and it was a fantastic location to check out and return to. The junior suite room we had was exquisitely furnished, and it was the most cozy bed we had in Ecuador. The kitchen, lovely pool, and eating areas are all right outside your door, and the hotel has two delightful dogs and a cute cat, which were joyous homey reminiscences. The hotel was prompt in getting us airport transfers for us at a reasonable rate. Kumbaya is a lovely city! It was more enticing than tranquil. Excellent eateries, stores, bakeries, and a welcoming town square were all highlights of our experience. I heartily suggest this hotel as a more strategic option closer to the airport, which is about 25 minutes away, or even as a location to explore the city's quiet.

We were greeted upon arrival, which was at the beginning of rp. We stated that we would like lunch and were immediately met by shock because there isn't a restaurant or many restaurants nearby, so keep that in mind when making your reservation. We began to settle into our rooms after receiving a 30-minute wait time. With a beautiful shower and jacuzzi tub, the room was as shown in the picture, spotless, and quite pleasant! This is where the rest of my report ends up being average. After I was informed that the food was all frozen, so lunch would take an hour, okay no problem, we should hop in the pool before eating. The other guests had left their drinks by the pool, and they began to collect ants. I can look past this because we are in a natural environment, so ants will come with it. After about 30 minutes, a staff member cleaned it up. When we inquired if we wanted dinner, we were told that we had a choice of chicken or beef. To save suspense, this dish was slightly better but not worth the 20 apiece. We turned it on and let it run for two hours. After supper, I again asked. The staff member did some checking and said he could fix it. After some time, he told us to wait an hour before it became warm. So we drank the
