We stayed here for one month in august and now we returned. Indiana hotel is a great option if you are searching for affordable accommodation in Cairo. Located on the dock, a pleasant area with lots of shops, cafes, pharmacies nearby, and the River Nile, a two-minute walk from lovely restaurants. The hotel's large rooms and comfy beds are the best part. There is plenty of seating area in the room, a huge fridge, and breakfast, which is better value for money. Expect things like Egyptian bread, fresh salad, falafel, and free coffee or tea. The staff is all polite and helpful. If you're looking for basic, clean accommodation, this is the place to go. In a nice dock area.

This budget hotel is located in a very peaceful neighborhood with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, surrounded by many embassies and very close to the Nile, however the hotel and rooms are obviously old and in need of maintenance. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Initially we were not happy with the room but we spoke to the manager and she kindly upgraded our room in to a suite..New room was excellent and the hospitality was great.. Staff is super friendly and polite

Everything in the room was broken, they wanted to charge us for it upon check out. Take pictures as soon as u check in to protect yourself. Other than that the reception and concierge staff was kind and helpful always. As a European tho you cannot use the pool, everyone will stare at you even the employees…

Les draps tout le jours changé maus tres vieux salle de bain a refaire complètement. Tres abime pas d endroit pour poser produit toute petite baignoire abîmé et mur de la chambre bien abîmé. Perit dejeuner a fuire tres de peu de diversité mais le personnel super et j ai oublie le wifi ne fonctionne jamais

It was constant construction on the property while you were trying to sleep. The maid never came in and cleaned my room. The shower didn’t work well and the shower. Drain wouldn’t take the water away.

Les employés sont très gentils. L'hôtel est bien situé et le quartier semble sécuritaire. Par contre c'est très bruyant toute la nuit dans l'hôtel. Aucun respect de certains clients. J'y ai passé 2 nuits et les 2 nuits les gens parlaient fort et faisaient beaucoup de bruits en claquant les portes. De plus cet hôtel n'est pas très propre. J'y ai vu un rat au 2e étage qui es passé tout près de moi. Les chambres ne sont pas très propres non plus. C'est un vieil hôtel mal entretenu. Je ne le conseil pas.

I do not reccomend this property to anyone. The hotel is in a very bad condition. Smelly rooms, dirty carpets, cracked walls. It feels like an abandoned old house. It should not be listed on Expedia , waste of time and money.
