I appreciate having spent my five days in Ithaca. This location has everything you could possibly need from a hostel. It was simple to locate, and it had a fantastic, central location. The staff members are quite friendly and accommodating. Everything was spotless, tidy, and wellkept. very comfy beds and sea view from the rooms. The common area is incredibly cozy, and it has a familiar atmosphere that can be hard to find when traveling. They did a fantastic job of making it feel like a living room, making it an ideal spot to hang out, which I did a lot both for socializing, working, or taking a break from the city work. Aside from that, you receive a great breakfast prepared by the staff in the morning, and you can also cook yourself, which is a huge plus. Ive been to a lot of hostels, and this one has a very lovely atmosphere. Im hoping more areas in Egypt will be soon expanding!.

My mates and I needed a place to spend the night at Alex. We booked our room at the hostel. We weren't expecting much. And we were pleasantly surprised. The place is amazing. The look is clean and proper very homey, people are friendly, the view is relaxing and the facilities are very accommodating!

I really enjoy the atmosphere here. This place is in a comfortable environment that makes you feel at home. This place has a wonderful and helpful staff. The location of this place is amazing because its in a nice location. The room is very comfortable. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The wifi facility here is free and good.

Ithaca has to be one of the best hostels in Egypt. Located on the 5th level of a building directly on the seafront, it is directly halfway between the citadel of Qaitbay and the library, and right above or near a lot of nice egyptianstyle cafes. The city is known for its cafe culture, and it is on the edge of the highway. The railway station is a 20-minute walk from here. The hostel is clean, modern, and colorful, with a wonderful common area half of which is unfortunately given over to smokers, smoking indoors is the norm in egypt, and stuffed with cushions, books, and games. The bathrooms are large and were usually in decent condition. Checking and wifi access is done by scanning a or code so very modern, and the dorm has great ac although it was a little too cold at times with great beds, great pillows, and blankets. There is also a minimarket buckshot in reception where you can buy cheap snacks and drinks. Breakfast is great tea or coffee with a mixed plate of flatbread, egyptian beans, cream cheese, cucumber, fried egg, and a sweet cereal bar. A 30 le deposit is a great price. The staff were all nice and helpful. The decent beaches are not available in Alexand

Overall, a wonderful stay, I'm sad I had to leave! Ithaca has to be one of the best hostels in Egypt. Its also probably one of the most expensive, being the only real hostel in Alexandria that is pricier than most of Egypt in general, but for the quality Id say it's worth it. It's right on the seafront's ground floor, directly halfway between the citadel of Qaitbay and the library, and directly above or close to lots of lovely egyptianstyle cafes the city is known for it's cafe culture. The railway station is a 20-minute walk, so it's nice and close. The hostel is clean and modern, and colourful, with a great common area half of which is unfortunately assigned to smokers, smoking indoors is the standard in egypt, and it is also filled with cushions, books, and games. The bathrooms are spacious and generally in good condition. Checking and wifi access is done using or code, so it's very modern and the dorm has great ac even though it was a bit too cold at times, with excellent beds with two excellent pillows and blankets! Also, there is a minimarket buckshot at the reception where you can buy cheap snacks and drinks. Breakfast is great tea or coffee with a mixed
