Howard Carter Hotel - what a find. Read all reviews and wasn't disappointed. From the very outset, we had a small issue with our room and was moved the next day into another room with no hesitation. We didn't like to complain as everyone at the hotel was so lovely and accommodating. Mr Said the owner who would always come around at meal times to make sure everything was to our liking. The Chefs worked so hard to deliver lovely dishes. The waiters were so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. Ahmed and Ahmed and the lad and the gentleman at breakfast (apologies I couldn't remember their names). There was a great varied menu at dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and a lovely touch with the miniature pancakes everyday. My husband didn't care for pancakes so I ate his as well. Yummy !! The view from both our rooms was fantastic of the Nile and Pool. The Pool was clean and well kept. The hotel staff also cared about our wellbeing as whoever was picking us up would have to complete their details etc. for our security. We would definitely be back when the time is right. Best kept secret on the Nile! While a little off the beaten path, that's also what makes this place so appealing. My kids didn't want to leave. Great breakfast, immaculate pool, phenomenal service. 100% recommend.

This hotel is for sure a jewel, an oasis hidden in a quiet, farming area overlooking the Nile. The staff and manager is super friendly and the service excellent! The roads leading here, a bit rugged, but worth it. I will highly recommend this place and will come back here if ever returning to Luxor again.❣️🤩

This is a great spot! It’s located on the West Bank, away from the hustle and bustle. We used the transfer service the hotel offered which was on-time and very reasonably priced. The hotel itself is super! Immaculate! They have a pool, bar area where they serve beer, wine and some spirits. The restaurant was very good as well. They have pizza and burgers, if that’s your liking. We went for the set menu offer which included local mezze, soup, a main (Egyptian or International), and a dessert. All were great. (They also grow a lot of their own fruits and vegetables on site). After dinner we enjoyed some shisha. All of this and a bottle of wine was less than $100 CAD dor two people. Can’t say enough about this place!

Room was clean, comfortable and very cute. Nice view of the Nile from my balcony. The staff here were wonderful! The food was great too. I really enjoyed the peaceful location and this hotel was a surprising great value. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Was my favorite hotel on our entire Egypt trip.

Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back but it’s definitely worth the peace and quiet. We would happily come back, and recommend it to everyone.
