All the staff were so friendly and helpful they really helped to make our stay. The chef came around in the mornings to check that we were enjoying the food and both the buffet and the speciality restaurants were really good. We particularly liked the Italian at breakfast and lunch as it was quieter than the main restaurant. There was plenty of food. The room was large, we had a balcony sea view room, it was clean and the housekeeper was excellent, providing a friendly service. Staff at the Sunrise Bar and Pool bar were also friendly and we enjoyed the all inclusive cocktails. There were plenty of chairs and sun umbrellas at the pool and the beach and both the pool area and the beach were clean. We enjoyed snorkelling from the pier. The spa was good and the Dive centre was excellent. The WiFi was variable but that’s probably to be expected. It was good when there were less people in the resort but struggled as the resort filled up. We had a really enjoyable week.

Oli kyllä jokaisen 5 tähden arvoinen. Lapset huomioidaan täydellisesti. Siivoojat ovat kuin paras ystäväsi. Ainut mikä voi toisille merkitä niin ihan naapurissa ei ole kauppoja, mutta onneksi hotellista löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Apteekki, market, vaatteet, kosmetiikka, automaatti, lelut ja sielläkin kaikki oli todella ihania. Ei liiallista perään huutamista.

Our room was cleaned on the daily basis and very comfortable. As we had a video conference to join during our stay and the WiFi signal was not so strong in our room, we requested for a solution from the front desk and they provided with a router in our room that we used until the end of our stay. The WiFi signal is very good at the beach and almost everywhere on the resort premises. No comment on food. So in general, we enjoyed our 10 days stay and we hope to be back in the summer if possible.

Det er et rigtig velholdt hotel og det er et super flinkt personale der er på stedet. Jeg kan varmt anbefale hotellet. Men desværre er der også et lille minus. De har et fint dykkecenter på stedet men måden man skal komme ud til dykkestederne er dårlige. Dykkecentret har en båd liggende ved bådebroen men for at komme med i båden skal du hoppe ca 1,5 m ned og når du kommer tilbage efter 2 dejlige dyk skal du så igen kravle op på broen. Der er ingen stige eller andre hjælpemidler. Så for folk med dårlige knæ mv er det næsten umulig at tage med. Dette er lidt sørgelig da stedet ellers er godt

We came back to the Movenpick after a lovely holiday last year - this time staying for 12 nights and choosing one of the hotels top suites which we had booked 6 months in advance and got this suite all-inclusive for the same price as staying in a normal room at the Sheraton or Kempinski. It was well worth it too. The next 12 days were filled basically relaxing in the hotel's tranquil, and at the start of December very quiet, surroundings - enjoying the gym and spa, playing tennis or swimming/snorkelling in the sea off their newly constructed jetty. We were thoroughly looked after by the staff who are without exception an absolute credit to the hotel. Every single member of their team has a smile on their face and clearly takes pride in the service they give you. Aside from service, the food is very good although some buffet dishes can be a bit bland - but this is always the case when trying to cater for everyone. The ingredients are probably the best available and it tells as the fish is always fresh, the meat is always lean and tasty and the veg too with lots of choice for veggies and vegans. The entertainment is surprisingly good to and the team are really keen to get people involved and always have a smile on their face. Again these guys cannot help enough. All in all the Movenpick is perhaps not the best hotel in the area, it is also a bit isolated BUT it is exceptional value for money with good food and great staff, a safe and lovely beach an ideal spot to relax

Hatten eine tolle Suite (105qm) mit großem Balkon/Terrasse und Blick auf das Meer und die Poolanlage. Sehr gute Ausstattung der Zimmer, großes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Badezimmer mit begehbarer "Raindusche" und Jacuzzi-Badewanne. Nur 3 deutsche TV-Programme, die aber bei Bedarf immer auf beiden TV-Geräten tadellos liefen. 3 große Kleiderschränke und sonstige Kommoden mit genug Ablagen. Das Beste an diesem Hotel sind seine Mitarbeiter. Habe so etwas selten erlebt. Vom Director of Operations bis hin zum Roomboy, alle spitzenmäßig. Erwähnen möchte ich hier explizit "Mahmoud", unseren Roomboy, immer zur Stelle, immer freundlich, egal welche Wünsche wir hatten. Wir hatten auf Grund anderer Bewertungen einige Skepsis gegenüber den Restaurants. Völlig unnötig. Das Buffetrestaurant glänzte täglich mit mehreren Fleisch/Fisch oder/und Geflügelfleischmenüs. Natürlich gab es immer auch 2 verschiedene Suppen und eine großes Salat- u. Käsebuffet. Spitzenmäßig jeden Tag aufs Neue, das Dessertbuffet. In einem moslemischen Land gibt es nun mal keine Schweineschnitzel, das weiß ich aber vor Reiseantritt. Schöne große Poolanlage (3Pools), davon einer mit Jacuzzifunktion. Abends immer Programm im Theater oder in der Soma-Bar. Getränke in Ordnung, aber auch nichts außergewöhnliches. Ab 23 Uhr muss man in den Bars für die Getränke bezahlen. Aber 23 Uhr ist dort eh die magische Zeit, wo langsam alles in den Schlaf fällt. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier goldrichtig,

It's a beautiful resort hotel on the Red Sea. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the restaurant serves tasty food. The area is far from the nearest town and so not plagued by the early morning call to prayer, but rooms close to the entertainment area will often have to endure load music late into the night.

I only used the hotel as a place to dine and sleep while spending my days working in the desert west of Safaga. I made no use of the beach and other resort facilities and so cannot evaluate these. The parts of the hotel I did frequent (i.e., the room, dining facility, reception lobby and garden) were beautiful, comfortable, and very clean.

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, wenn man weiss wann es ruhig zu und her geht. Es waren viele Asiaten da und wenn man sie nicht gesehen hat, dann hat man sie gehört, so wie sie gekommen sind waren sie auch wieder weg und es war ruhig. Für Paare sehr angenehm, Sportmöglichkeiten vorhanden, Spa auch, wobei die Verkäufer auch hier etwas aufdringlich sein können, Gott sei Dank gibt es Mittel um sie abzuhalten, wenn man es weis Wie!!!

The food is the highlight of the visit. The buffé is excellent, lots of fresh vegetables, sallads, nice meat etc. Especially all oriental food is very good. You certainly do not starve. The atmosphere is nice. The activities are very nice. Especially the stretching, yoga etc were very good. There is a nice mix of volleyball, dart etc. The animation team is very nice, my kids loved the staff working there and felt very safe with them. Cleaning of the place, including the rooms could be better. Toilets around the compound rarely had toilet paper etc. Staff is very helpful with anything you need, so that part of the service is very nice. The beach is sandy, nice and shallow - so easy to bring children.

Es war unsere erste Reise überhaupt in dieses Land und wir haben es sehr genossen. Natürlich muss man einiges beachten und auch lernen aber überwiegend war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Die Anlage ist schon etwas gebraucht aber das Personal macht alles möglich was in ihrer Macht steht um diese Defizite auszugleichen. Wir hatten all inclusive gebucht und da ist auch wirklich so viel dabei das man gut zunimmt allerdings gibt es in ihrer Ausschreibung einen Fehler: es steht das man einmalig eines der Spezialrestaurant buchen kann was aber nicht so ist. Zum Glück hat der Kellner uns sofort darauf hingewiesen was in dem Moment dann ärgerlich war, doch wir dann einfach wieder losgegangen sind um in großen Restaurant zu essen ohne zusätzliche Kosten. Alles im allen war es ein schöner Aufenthalt und wir würden es bei einer erneuten Reise wieder buchen.
