I had a really great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The hotel staff were exceptional! They provided personalized recommendations and were always available to assist with any questions. I felt valued as a guest. The hotel was cozy, quiet, and modern. It felt like a genuine getaway. The lighting and small details made my room feel like it was designed for comfort. The hotel’s location was perfect! I was just a short walk from great restaurants and shops. Mostafa was very friendly, pleasant and he consistently exceeded my expectations, making my staying seamless. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. He made sure all my needs were met, and his friendliness truly made my stay. I was completely impressed with his professionalism and customer service skills. He was amazing , very thoughtful, providing great insights and detail. His attention to detail and willingness to help made my stay truly enjoyable. I couldn't be happier choosing this hotel. We had a wonderful 3nites stay at the end of April 2026. The staff were attentive and kind. The location is excellent, in front of quiet alley with several cafes. The hotel entrance may be a bit off putting, but once you walk up one flight of stairs, Sama Hotel Sherif Basha lobby awaits you behind glass doors. Newly renovated one floor hotel. Be sure to select rooms with windows on the alley side or main street side. The windows are well insulated from noise. The location is only blocks from the other Sama hotel that is in the square, which is much more noisy. So many restaurants, shops and cafes to choose right in the neighborhood. Access to Egyptian museum and the Nile river is faster on foot than Uber, due to high traffic congestion. With that said, Uber is great since it is abundant and very very affordable. We love this location and the hotel is EXCELLENT. Breakfast is limited but fresh and basic. So many eateries around that we save our tummy for the street food. Can't wait to return to Cairo. It was great from beginning to end. It is in the center of Old cairo, in a small alley just 10 meters from a busy street, 15 minutes walking to main square. All the sfatt was very friendly and helpful. They came down to get us from the taxi and helped us with the luggage, breakfast is varied, and with local flavor, enough to start the day, I would only suggest to start earlier like 7am at least, other than that it was all great.

Wow! We can’t say enough of what a breath of fresh air this was! We were greeted by the kindest of staff, loved every minute here. Breakfast was nice, the rooms are super clean, the bathroom is very modern, and the beds were super comfortable. We loved this so much, the next weekend we rebooked again for 2 nights when we returned to Cairo.

My stay here was very good, these rooms and the hotel itself is fairly new. Everything is in good condition, it’s a bit noisy but I’m sure all hotels in Cairo face this with it being at 24 hour city, things open till late night. The bed sheet was a little dirty upon arrival, but it was an easy quick fix it happens. The best part of my stay was meeting Mostafa, he was the kindest gentleman I’ve met, I just wanted to take him home. So helpful and full of knowledge, he went above and beyond for me 10/10. Highly recommend going to him for any suggestions. Will stay here when I’m back in Egypt!

nice place in older building - they are located on the second floor - it’s all brand new on the second floor - don’t let the building or area scare - everything is safe there - if you want American food- McDonald’s is outside your door step- and 🍔 king is across the street- we did not eat there we tried everything else that was around.

Perfect location in the Cairo downtown. Very clean rooms and hotel premises. The surrounding area is full of wonderful shops. All tourists spots are easily reachable from here with an Uber, though hotel staff also provides packages and we used them and say they are worth. Hotel staff are very helpful, and solve any issue with amenities very quickly. Thanks to Mostafa and Amin, who helped us with very late checkin due to flight delays, Youstina at reception with suggesting and arranging tour packages (in english language). Amin even accompanied us to a vegeterian restaurant on our arrival day as it was too late to find an eatery by ourself. Though not everyone understands or speaks english at the hotel, they are well aware of using technology and language was no barrier at all. A must recommended hotel for families.

Hotel céntrico. Entrada y edificio muy mejorable. Pero la planta del hotel está muy reformada y se siente uno cómodo. Desayuno bueno, no buffet, y no se repite el café. Habitación amplia y bien equipada, limpias y moderna, con todo lo necesario y casi nuevo. Recomendable por sitio, instalaciones y precio. Además no te preparan ningún cambio en la reserva ni te mandan a otro hotel, por eso lo elegí.....
