We had an excellent experience when staying at Hotel Los Mangos. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. Everything that we have been through was fantastic. From the rooms to the cuisine, the staff to the view, the waves, the locals and the other guests staying there. All of us agreed that the trip could not have been any better. We appreciate everything! Definitely returning with families.

The views and beach at this hotel were just breathtaking. It is promoted as a luxury hotel but at its best it is basic. I believe that the crowd that was there did not have enough staff. The food was just ok, took forever to come out. We drove him on a very rocky unpaved road instead of being greeted and brought up to our room we were brought in to their office to pay the remaining balance for our reservation booked on application and were under the impression we had already paid in full. This certainly could have been handled at checkout.

The road from the nearest town to the hotel is a rough half our journey, but once you arrive, you'll know it was well worth every bump. An exceptional location on the beach, there are no other hotels or houses. Such a beautiful beach with golden fuchsia sand, shallow for a long distance out. There are 103 steps down the hill, a great way to get fit! A perfect beginner surf beach as well. For our surf group of eight, which was organized by Finisterra Travel with instructor, tofino be. The rooms were spacious, with million-dollar views, balconies, air conditioning that never turned on, 2 queens, fully equipped bathrooms, and the most stunning bed linen purchased and, I believe, woven locally? By the owner Esther I watched her shop in a market in San Salvador. The food is prepared on site in the kitchen and served under a beautiful, woven palmpalapa. The menu includes both typical American and American dishes, the cooks are fantastic. The staff is welcoming, and the rooms and gardens are in great condition. The infinity pool offers an unbroken view of the ocean clear to the horizon. When the moon is visible, the stars are enormous.

We waited more than an hour for a dinner for 9 people despite the nice employees. The view and location are very beautiful. But, the restaurant's service isn't excellent, the food is average. When making the reservation, communications were really poor and inaccurate. It seemed understaffed.

I spent six nights here during my surf camp with Finisterra travel. I'm dissatisfied that anyone could give this place more than a five-star rating. On the top level of the main building, we stayed in an ocean view room, which was wonderful. If you didn't mind a little bit of squish, I imagine you could fit up to four individuals in the room, which was nice and tidy for two people. The views from the balcony are stunning, and there were numerous ventilation and cooling options in the el salvador heat. Nonetheless, if you need to leave them a key in case your room is cleaned, the personnel was very kind and took excellent care of us regarding our meals and housekeeping. There isn't much to lock your room, however, as the resort is very secure. The only warning I can offer is that the hotel is 20-minute drive off the beaten path from El Cuc, but if you want a beautiful area to stay with its own private beach, who wouldn't? Los Mangos is stunning! It is important to keep in mind that there are some wildlife around as is common with most small hotels in Mexico Central and Southwest America.
