This hotel is very close to the bus stop and the railway station, so we really prefer to stay at Seurahuone, which is also conveniently located. The decor is amazing and the bar must be the most luxurious one in the world. Besides that, the rooms on that level are interesting because they give off the impression that you are part of the ancient world. The rest of the hotel feels akin to an old world because they appear to be central. The employees here have been extremely helpful throughout our stay, and they have a beautiful historic building, along with exquisite interiors and an excellent bar. The restaurant is always busy and serves breakfast, so you can get your table quickly. When it comes to the front desk, the reception desk is busy and there is a long line if something goes wrong.

I will stay here again. This hotel is directly across the street if you need to get there early or leave early from Helsing Railway Station. It is an old hotel with lots of wear and tear and history, nice in every way. Huge old style windows can get a little hot in the summer as there is no central air conditioning, but there are little table fans for visitors. It was not a problem for me because I stayed there primarily due to it's central location and reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful, I had to leave very early, but I was given a breakfast bag.

The hotel will be closed in the future because a major reconstruction is occurring. Seurahuone and the adjacent new student house, an ancient 1909 structure, will be joined to form a new luxury hotel. Therefore, you should hurry if you want to experience the old Seurahuone. This renowned motel from 1912 is in a prime location close to the city's railway station. We reserved a superior room at 129 euros for a senior price. On arrival, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a junior suite. It was probably because my partner is a scandics toplevel member and the hotel was completely booked. The suite's standard fee would have been 384 euros. Thus, the upgrade was very fair. We have stayed in the suite on the ground floor twice. The suite is now on the ground floor. There are two suites. The size is the same as the two superior plus rooms, but the suites have a jacuzzi. Due to a significant renovation, the hotel will close in the future.

The decoration of the hotel was rather old but the hotel was still stunning. The location is ideally located for walking distance to the other destinations. We are both vegetarians and were pleasantly pleased with the breakfast options they served.

There is a wide range of pillows in the room, but they were all quite thick in this overall pleasant stay. In last summer, during Corona's Summer, we stopped for a while. We were searching for a hotel close by because our intention was to eat dinner at the Roux restaurant. The closest was Seurahuone. The items are excellent, and the service is excellent. Particularly lovely and flavorful breakfast in the contemporary rooms, which is available in boutiques and restaurants across the street. The personnel went out of their way to let pet and birthday celebrations. When I come, I will return.

Location
The hotel enjoys a very convenient location, only approximately 50 m across the road from the train station. Just by taking a short walk guests are able to enjoy visiting the cultural highlights such as the Atenneum, which houses the Museum for Finnish Art. The museum accommodates the largest selection of Finnish art as well as works by foreign artists of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Helsinki airport is some 18 km away and can be fairly easily reached by train or tram.
Facilities
The establishment comprises a total of 118 accommodation units. Guests can reach the upper floors by lift. Services and facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Guests travelling in their own vehicles can make use of the available parking spaces (for a fee).
