We stayed there for the good of Orly airport. It's about 15 minutes away. Of course, depending on the traffic. We arrived late the night porter was very friendly and helpful. The credit card system proved a little complicated, but we made it through anyway. On the corner is a delightful and pleasant little chill house. In the morning the receptionist seems grouchy and breakfast is a bit loveless but other than that it was fine.

This hotel has very noisy rooms because the windows are very old, and we can hear cars passing around. But the room is also very soundproof, not like a regular room. We could book this hotel in the evening for the same night stay, which is a benefit for the ibis budget.

We stayed here for two nights while going to the nearby download music festival. When we arrived around 855 p.m. on a Thursday, the parking lot was almost full, but we did find a space both nights. The front desk was closed, but we were able to check in using the machine in the foyer. The rooms are opened by decode system, and upon entering, the room had a stale smell and was very warm. It had been a hot day, so we turned on the fan system and went into the bathroom, where it turned out the toilet didn't flush. I went back downstairs and luckily found the only staff member on site when he was about to finish his shift. He was very helpful in fixing the problem by bashing the back wall above the cistern le claire!, which showed that this clearly happened frequently due to buildup in the pipes. Indeed, it turned out that every other time the toilet was used, this needed to be done to fix the problem. On the plus side, the to worked, but the lack of a remote was a bit irritating and there are no english channels in the room, which is nice. On the positive side, the bed was still comfortable for the price, although a spare pillow or two would have been nice. Overall, the staff was dedicated and clearly doing their best, but the hotel is well past its peak
