It was a great place that we couldn't leave, and we had to extend the reservation by three more days. Laurence, the property's owner and host, is above and beyond what one would have hoped for, offering support, guidance on what to see, and having a good laugh. She cleverly balances providing service with keeping the privacy out of the house, and she was eager to speak English, which was fantastic because we are terrible at French. From our lovely room, we were able to see the top of Mont venous. There is no evening dining at the establishment, however, guests can have access to an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue. A delicious breakfast, including freshly baked french toast, homemade jam, and fresh yogurt, is served throughout the day. There are several nice spots to park around the property, including great sun, shade, and scenic views. The nearest village is welcoming and has several food options. Our children were kept engaged and happy by the four cats and a big, lovely dog in the house.

We would recommend staying here. Les defends de recon was a lovely location to stay. Laurence welcomed us as soon as we started pulling up her friendly dog. Laurence insisted on helping us with our luggage and demonstrating to us our spacious room with a lovely outlook. Breakfast was excellent and Lorraine kept us company every morning and was happy to practice her English, which is more than enough. The views from this location are breathtaking, and there are numerous spots where to sit and take in the view.

We recently departed from a lengthy journey around Europe, and our visit to this guesthouse was unquestionably one of the highlights. It has a stunning pool and is hidden away in the mountains just outside Montbrun. Our youngest child had a great time running around the lavender field next to the house after taking up his Belard dog nickel. Stefan and Laurence have been extremely helpful, and they gave him a wonderful breakfast prepared with organic vegetables from their garden. We heartily endorse this le defends and intend to stay here again someday. Thank you for making our visit here wonderful!.
