This is not a hotel but the most beautiful bed and breakfast, located a short walk from the train station and small venice in collar. Rachel, our host, was very friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Her breakfast was delicious, with homemade bread and pastries including her own jams, freshly harvested honey from a family, fresh fruit, local cheeses, meats, and the most delicious eggs prepared the french way with fresh herbs. Rachel became more than a host, we became a long-term friend. We highly recommend staying at this nice home.

Staying at Castellan is different from staying at a hotel, rather, it is a house guest at a good friend's house. Rachel, the hostess, is very welcoming, we were greeted like we were old friends despite not meeting and communicating only via the application website. The be is on a relatively quiet street only a minute walk from Little Venice and the old town with it's numerous bars and restaurants.
