A wonderful, quiet few days of school half term. Hotel has around 20 redecorated rooms with comfortable, large beds and some with great views of the abbey towers. We had the pool to ourselves, great as heated. Helpful staff and owner. Good, I do! Just a short walk to the village with a few bars and restaurants, although hit-and-miss bars on sunday, monday, and tuesday evenings. I recommend exploring the local seine district.

Peaceful, tranquil, and idyllic. The staff is attentive and friendly, the rooms are bug free and tastefully decorated. The grounds are immaculate, and the pool is a welcome addition. We were a bit nervous about bringing the kids because it had more of an adults spa break vibe, but they were more than welcoming and I'm sure it will be fine if your kids are strong brats. We stayed here on the descent from Eurostar, and it was so enjoyable that on the way back we stayed another night. We only had delicious breakfast, but the food is great in Submerge du Bac, which is about a 15-minute walk from the river.

They serve very basic continental breakfasts, but there are no evening meals available. Everyone is immaculately clean with a very kind and accommodating staff.

Although it's a little challenging to find parking outside entails an extra trip for luggage until we were told to load unload the luggage. The pool and surroundings, as well as the roomcabin, were nevertheless quite impressive. I won't criticize the staff, however, they are unquestionably overworked and one might wonder if the location had been abandoned at a moment's notice. The location is in such a manner that there is easy foot access to the abbey and the rest of Jumieges except for the submerge du bac.

Would we stay here again? Nah, probably not. We stayed at Les Clos for two days and booked two rooms for our family. All rooms are spotless, with a nice pool, and the area is tidy. Our rooms were a little worn out, but it worked fine. Breakfast is okay. What annoyed me the most was the staff who didn't seem to care about the customers, ie a somewhat inpersonal check-in process where we almost felt as if to apologize for interrupting the breakfast. To make the guests feel welcome, there should be a lot done.
