Highly recommended if you want to get away from it all and relax in forest surroundings while still being close enough to the major motorways for the journey. This is not a five-star hotel by any means, but it's ideal for us when traveling with a family of five and pets. The hotel proprietor always remembers us and invites the children to stay with him with a smile and a special hello. It has a lovely family room with two king-sized beds, one single bed, bags of space, and en suite--great for families. Excellent breakfast options at a reasonable price. The premises also serves as an evening restaurant, but with different staff, but the quality is excellent and the menu is decent.

We chose the room with a balcony which was great for us after the long drive that day. We had a place to enjoy the evening sunshine and our dog to escape from the room. The hotel is situated next to the church with its loud bells at 730 am. But the hotel's well-kept lawns and lovely surroundings compensate for all of that. It was worth driving off the main bordeaux spain route for this pleasant stop in a quiet, picturesque village of Saint Paul en born. There is no kettle or hairdryer in the room, but all the rooms are recently modernised and very stylish. There is a restaurant, but it does not operate on a Sunday night. Nonetheless, we took ourselves to a minivan page 10 km away and enjoyed a reasonably priced dinner at the garage toque restaurant on the seafront. It was attentive and friendly service, but because we spoke French, it really made a huge difference!.

This is a small crossroad, but the hotel and restaurant were fine. The roomy balcony with a beautiful view of the neighborhood was so perfect for relaxing after a day of cycling. Our host was friendly and friendly, helping us put our bikes away and responding to all our questions.

We chose to eat at this restaurant because we were cycling along a wonderful bike path that runs through this village, so the choices were very limited. They offer a menu with the plate du jour as well as an allyoucaneat buffet of entrees and desserts for about 12, 50, if I recall correctly. Simple eggs mayo, charcuterie, potato salads, etc. were served in addition to the entrees, creme brulee, chocolate pie, etc. Desserts were also simple, like creme brulee and chocolate pie. I believe most of the food came from a factory and was simply dressed, with a few homemade ingredients in the mix. It was adequate, but I could buy the same items myself and avoid the intermediary. The service was adequate, if a bit inattention. The wine was equally fine.

This place is in Julyaugust, would stay again on the way south and eat in a restaurant rather than a minivan. And then the air conditioning is very quiet, plus the bathroom is clean too, plus the blackout curtains really help us sleep better. After that, the breakfast is good though needs more fruit and there is ample parking. Subsequently, the breakfast is good, and even though we did not enjoy it and it smelled yummy, it was so busy and very clean. Subsequently, this is a definite disappointment.
