The neighborhood and town's Old Quarter are both within a short stroll of the hotel, which is located on a calm, back street. The bus stop, train station, and tourist information center are also close by, making the location very practical. There are several eateries just a short stroll away. Although we didn't have a car, parking is available. We relied on the bus service to travel through nearby towns because we didn't have a car. The hotel proprietors, I, and Mme Martin, are very cordial and helpful. Although our room on the ground floor was cozy and spotless, it wasn't particularly heated in the evenings, and the bathroom was adequate for guests with a small shower cabinet but a powerful shower. Although the taps are unusual, we were taught how to use them. Room service is provided, and we only utilized it two times to place predinner beverages orders. I can speak to monsieur cocktails. At nearby restaurants, we reserved two complimentary suppers as part of our package for us. The selection is conceivably limited to a handful of choices for each course, but we were able to upgrade to something we preferred for the difference. It also included a free drink. A decently priced three-star family-run hotel. Not opulent but comfortable, spotless, and inviting.

The hotel is small and dated, but clean. Definitely not luxurious, but a good base to explore the coast which is our goal. Breakfast was adequate. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The parking lot is a big plus.

The only thing that makes me angry is the parking problem during busy times. The condition of the room was clean and tidy. The owner was really accommodating. And then the room was quiet and in good condition.

We spent 2 nights here, having flown from Australia the day before. The room was nice, warm, and quiet. The hotel is in a great location, close to the city center in 2 minutes and the major train station in a few minutes. The hotel manager was very helpful in letting me leave my luggage before check in so that I could see the town. Highly recommend.
