We forgot that Le Bugle is rather ordinary compared to other charming villages nearby. The menu selection has been remade and then heated up. That's good. However, it would be nice if laminated picture cards showing the menu were wiped clean a bit. Having said that, the berger rose was the best in the area but with a lovely colour and more of a New Zealand rose wine.

When we arrived on the day of the market, we sat on the terrace and had a cup of coffee while the world passed by. We also returned when it wasn't busy. Didn't stay in the hotel, but the garden was lovely. After that, I enjoyed a walk through the town.

The service here was so pleasant even though they only spoke very little English. The location is very strategic, with so many rooms and good clean condition.

We didn't stay there, but we had lunch in the courtyard and were very impressed. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. It had a very relaxing ambiance which was ideal for us and our dog. The courtyard is shaded by trees so in the heat of the day it was a nice escape. If you are in a lovely Le Bugle, try it.
