This hotel is close to the town center. The owner showed us where our room was located, and it was spacious and well-equipped. On our return from a meal, she was welcoming and happy to help us at the bar. If you plan to travel to Paris, this place is an excellent stopover. Although this hotel is close to a busy area of town, it is generally peaceful. We reserved this location as our first stop on our journey into France. We took the ferry late in the afternoon and were able to park outside. Although breakfast is not included, which is the only drawback, I don't believe many continental breakfasts are worth 9 euros, it is still worthwhile to stay there.

We had a pleasant time at hotel itzalpea. It has a great location, is reasonably priced, is roomy, clean, and comfortable. The personnel was kind and accommodating. There were no drawbacks because the hotel was directly across the street from a gate into the historic walled portion of the town and only about one block away from the Camino Pilgrims Office, where we were given first selling stamps and some last minute suggestions before starting the Camino early the next morning. We enjoyed it. thank you.

I spent one night in Maison Dotes Iscalpea before going on the next morning to Roncesvalles. The size of the room, the pleasant greeting, and the good position, just outside the walled area of the town, impressed me. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Very nice little hotel that provides excellent value for the money and is ideal for beginners. There are several restaurants nearby, and the pilgrimage office is only 5 minutes away. I had a good night's sleep and would want to stay again when in Saint Jean Pierrepieddeport.

This is an excellent little hotel. The breakfast was good, and the rooms were spotless. For travelers who want to go on a pilgrimage and stay one night, there are quite a few small rooms. We stayed in one of the larger rooms for three nights. Excellent position outside the old city walls. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again on another visit.

The location of this place was in the middle of the city and with friendly owner. Very comfortable room with mountain view, peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, it gave me a perfect relaxing place to start my day.
