I highly recommend this place. The host is a nice man and the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also delicious. Also, free wifi was very good. The best thing is they provide a door to the toilet instead of a curtain.

This hotel was very basic but comfortable, great for a one or two night stopover. The Continental breakfast was nice, but not too much for the money. The staff was friendly. There was a nice balcony at the back and plenty of off road parking. Was very quiet.

In the second half of July, we spent two nights in the hotel picard. Although we were aware that it is a two-star, traditional hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the tiny room. The fact that we travelled as two adults and one child made us feel quite isolated. With a huge suitcase at the beginning of a lengthy vacation, it was almost impossible to navigate the room. We were greeted with warmth by the charming couple who own the property. Behind the hotel is a lovely garden with dining tables, a few lounge chairs for relaxing, and free private parking. It has a good position near the town's center and a tiny park. A lovely lake, lac du Der, is only 25 a.m.. Great location for a day-out, sunbathing, swimming, strolling, etc. There are drawbacks that there is no door in the bathroom, just a curtain and no air conditioning. Even with the open window at night, it wasn't sufficient for adequate sleep. When we were there, it was so hot that even with the open window at night, it wasn't enough. Perhaps it's not uncommon because we didn't see an air conditioner nearby for most of the time.
