My husband had chosen this motel for a short vacation to honor my birthday by exploring this lovely area of the hamlet. Ms. Chiberches gave us a sincere greeting, assisted us with our luggage, and directed our parking. We were given information on places we might like to see and brochures that suggested local walks we could take in the sun to stretch our legs after the trip. On the night we arrived, we booked to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant, and even though it was unfilled, it had three excellent dishes, lovingly presented and carefully prepared. The addition of birthday candles on my dessert was a lovely touch! Both our spacious bathroom and the public areas we met with Ichiberches the following morning over breakfast were more than adequate and immaculately clean. This is a fantastic starting point for exploring this charming area. We won't think twice about staying here again in the future.

Our stay at this family hotel with the lovely views from the balcony was more than lovely. This hotel is the best place to stay as we will visit again with the king-size bed in this room. The room was really roomy and clean with a king-size bed. The employees here were very nice. And then, the meal served was quite good, plus the owner was so good in the manner of speaking English perfectly.

I am very disappointed. The impression we got was different from our impression. The hotel foyer gives the impression of a fairly luxurious hotel. From reception, the receptionist is seen eating in both the front and the back dining areas, the one to your left is the street entrance for passing trade or non-guest meals, and there is also a terrace for dining in chilly weather. On entering our room, this impression was dispelled. The size and layout were identical to those in Campanile or IBIS hotels. The desk, cabinet, and luggage bench appeared nice but were flat pack, and the bed head with twin lights was mounted with the old wallpaper from around 1958 on at least 13 of the remaining areas. The bathroom was crowded, with bidet, sink, and toilet on one wall, a shower on the second, a towel rail very close to the toilet on the third wall, and one at a time took up the shower, only one person at a time could comfortably use it. The small shelf over the sink was barely suited for my male toiletries, and my wife, who had the option, left me with the top of the toilet. To add more discomfort, the shelf was too close to the sink, which meant that when brushing my teeth, I banged my head against it while spitting out the water used for mouth rinse! Afraid that I have to agree with the other reviewers except that we found the owner to be very friendly. This hotel has so many flaws. It smells moldy, the rooms are shabby, the internet is not secure, bottle water is not provided, no coffee maker in the room etc. It feels like barely a two-star hotel. But it's in a sleepy little spa town and the thermal baths are directly across the street. We went to the street market and had lunch at the hotel des thermes restaurant before going to the thermal baths. Big surprise, the pot au feu de la mer seafood stew in the restaurant was fantastic and one of the best meals of our trip! After the thermal baths we also had a very nice drive through the terrace countryside, so overall, it was a very relaxing sunday for us despite the hotel not nice.

Charming hotel but definitely not for the English speaking traveler. Hotel staff (the night we checked in) was unable/unwilling to assist us in securing a taxi, so we ended up leaving after just one (out of our non-refundable two!) night. Overall, disappointed with our experience.

Assez déçu de l'état de la salle de bain, une odeur d'égout qui s'en dégage, le papier toilette de très mauvaise qualité et le robinet de la baignoire mériterait d'être réparé. La pièce servant à basculer l'eau du robinet à la poire de douche est manquante et à donc été remplacé par un simple boulon. Absolument pas pratique puisque très dur à actionné les mains mouillées. Il y avait également beaucoup d'insectes morts au sol ce qui indique que l'aspirateur n' a pas dû être passé correctement.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit en famille (4 personnes + un chien) à l’Hôtel-Restaurant Les Thermes. Même si les chambres sont un peu vétustes et qu’il y a très peu d’intimité pour 3 adultes et un ado, cela restait acceptable pour une nuit. Le point positif : nous avons dîné au restaurant et le repas était vraiment excellent. Bravo au chef, et un grand merci aux deux serveurs, Max et Mathieu, très professionnels et adorables. En revanche, gros problème au moment du paiement. En réservant via Hotels.com, la chambre était déjà réglée et seules les taxes de séjour devaient être payées sur place. Pourtant, le directeur nous a demandé 15 € supplémentaires, expliquant que c’était la commission Hotels.com et qu’il la répercutait sur les clients. Il nous a même affirmé que cela fait 40 ans qu’il travaille ainsi, laissant entendre qu’il applique cette pratique à tous ses clients depuis des années. Cette méthode est totalement contraire aux conditions de réservation et constitue une facturation abusive. La situation a été tellement aberrante que nous avons dû faire intervenir la gendarmerie, qui a constaté la mauvaise foi du propriétaire. Il a également tenté de nous facturer des petits-déjeuners que nous n’avions pas pris. Une expérience très décevante sur la partie hôtelière, avec un comportement du directeur totalement inacceptable. Dommage, car le restaurant et le personnel de salle étaient, eux, irréprochables.
