I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel reception and restaurant are quite modern and the breakfast was standard continental. The rooms are a problem. The beds are too soft and the vinyl floor is really low class. This needs serious review. On the positive side, the location is good and the staff are friendly.

On application the hotel is by the lake, but this isn't a lovely, picturesque spot. It's a man-made lake with a construction site at one end. The hotel's exterior appears to be quite run-down. Fortunately, the family room was good once there, but since there was no air conditioning, it was rather hot and didn't seem that clean. I had a long drive to get there, so I was hoping to rest and grab a drink at the bar, but it didn't have one. The front desk staff were friendly and kind, but the other staff didn't appear to want to be there. It seemed like a motel was closing down. Breakfast was simple, and again, plates, etc, didn't appear to be spotless. I'm not the pricey for what it is.

On the way back home on our holiday, we stayed one night here. It's a pleasant day-to-day transfer hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a simple breakfast. It has a central location in town.

We chose this hotel for our return stopover after viewing it during our trip down, as the initial selected hotel was such a let down. This was considerably cheaper and much higher quality. There are many restaurants nearby, although several were closed on Monday, which is generally good. Beautiful historic square and buildings.

The basic room and service, the towels were brittle. Good breakfast and dinner. Noisy at night nightlife traffic. I had to reset the hotel's wifi router myself to get it working. The roads to and from the motorway are fine so no significant stopovers.
