We stayed in the hotel Saint Jean because we adored the area of France and it was wonderful to stay there. The location is excellent, as is the hotel's back wall, which features an antique roman theater! This operation is run by two brothers who are extremely helpful in providing information about the local and surrounding neighborhoods. Every morning's breakfast is traditionally French, and the rooms are neat and have an appealing colour theme. On-site parking is secure.

The hotel is incredibly lovely, homey, and traditional in design. The location is strategically located close to the theater and a large park. The employees were really kind and accommodating. They were able to give us our room key in less than 20 minutes, even though we arrived a little earlier than we anticipated. This older hotel has its flaws, including a lengthy wait for hot water, but the character is well worth it. I only wish we had visited in the summer to have brunch on the terrace. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with a natural stone wall on one side. Perfect for a romantic weekend in the Pays Orland. A side trip to Chateauneufdupape, which is only 15 minutes away by car, was made on our way.

I was very happy to stay at this place, it has a great position. What a fantastic place. What a fantastic location a short walk from the heart of the city and the Roman Theatre. Secure courtyard parking all set up at night, and an eye-catching interior courtyard, where breakfast can be enjoyed in good weather. Very friendly hosts and very helpful with restaurant suggestions within walking distance. Our room had an original stone wall on one side and was very relaxing, even if the shower area could use a makeover. Decorated in the colors of this wonderful neighborhood and with efficient aircorn, which was very welcome. Would most definitely stay here again in the future..

Our first floor apartment was basic but comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and gave useful local information. Breakfast the next morning made a good start to the day. When we came by car the traffic was treating the street outside the hotel as oneway which is almost all of it's length. However, the very short section from the main road to the gated entrance to the hotel courtyard was today and, when we took it, the oncoming vehicles did give way.

I'm very fond of Hotel Saint Jean since we stayed here 30 years ago. The courtyard room in our room was peaceful, comfortable, and clean. Although it takes a while for hot water to work its way up to a bathshower, the unusual twisting corridors and the architecture of a building from 1627 add to the charm. There is a Roman theatre next to it and many restaurants. The food at the hotel is delicious. There is some parking in the courtyard.
