This was the loveliest place! A small, well kept family owned hotel with oen of the most beautiful breakfast rooms I’ve been in. Homemade jam for breakfast. The service was impeccable! So nice and cosy. The bed was a bit narrow, but rooms were nicely decorated and very clean.

We didn't want to stay in Aixen province because we were searching for lodging while exploring the Montagne Sainte Victoire region. We were very pleased to discover this tiny, family-run hotelrestaurant in the secluded town of Rains. We were delighted to eat right in our hotel after a couple of long days of hiking, and the meals, while not gourmet, were pleasant and typical of the area. The wine selection and price were also appealing. Sunday nights can be tricky because the eatery is closed and there are limited options in rainy weather. On Sundays, pizza trucks appear to work like magic.

We stayed at Hotel de l Hostelling for a few days and there were a lot of guests all friends, it was a great feeling and great experience. The hotel is managed by the owner's family and from the welcome to the time we left, they went above and beyond to please us. Even when we said a little last minute that we would have dinner the 30 of us, they managed it in the best way. The rooms are comfortable with the charm of a traditional style. The chef prepares delectable countryside provence food and it is clear he makes a point to select very carefully it's ingredients from the local fresh producers. The wine list is not very long but you will have the best at a reasonable price. Service is perfect and always accommodating, English is spoken perfectly and parking right in front. Honestly, what are you to ask for?.

The food was superb, the presentation was excellent, the color was vibrant, and the taste was perfect. The family-run hotel restaurant was excellent. The service was excellent. Ursula pays close attention to you. You feel as though you're eating at a family home surrounded by your family. We got a warm welcome. The price is quite reasonable considering the food's high caliber.

The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the hotel is well-presented and cozy furnished with old provence pieces and the beautiful bright room is tastefully decorated. Dinner, cooked by our lovely host, and breakfast served by madam the next morning were both delicious. We'll come back!.
