Lovely family hotel in the centre of Lens. Clean and ideal for use as a base while exploring locally. It is right near the town centre too. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

We needed a hotel that was situated in northern France with easy connections to the various points of interest relating to WWI during the day and to good bars and restaurants in the evening. This hotel did both of these and was economically price with single rooms. The staff were very good and very helpful. Furthermore there was ample local free car parking.

Good hotel for the money. Owners are at reception to look after you. We had bikes and they accommodated storing them inside. Overall a good experience. Breakfast was expensive as there were only few baguettes and don't expect a plate. The coffee however is exceptional!

The hotel location is just outside the area that would be considered the town centre, but the station and every other amenity that you would want in the centre of Lens are within 5-10 minutes walk, with the football stadium and the Louvre just a couple of minutes away. The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming and the rooms, whilst basic, were clean and perfectly adequate for our all-male group who were visiting overnight for football and nightlife. The price was also fair when compared to the price per head on offer at other nearby hotels.

Nous avons été reçus avec beaucoup de gentillesse et il nous a été donné une très grande chambre (celle en principe réservée aux handicapés en chaise). Mais plusieurs petits pbs matériels nous ont un peu contrariés: - 1 des 2 lampes de chevet ne marchait pas, la 2nde s'allumait épisodiquement - 1 table de nuit n'était pas vraiment accrochée et est sortie de son emplacement, très instable - la salle de douche, immense mais au sol quasiment plat, s'inondait à chaque douche, même rapide, l'eau s'évacuant très difficilement. - très bruyant tard le soir car attenant au bar du même nom En revanche, outre la gentillesse de nos hôtes, l'hôtel est très bien situé: centre-ville, proche de la gare et en face d'un grand parking payant. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner qu'il aurait fallu commander
