This hotel is very basic, but the service is 5-star. The owner will do everything to meet your needs with pleasure. I was skeptical when I first saw the hotel. But, this is what it is. Not a ritz carlton or a mid-range chain. But it is clean, has excellent air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and provides fantastic service. I highly recommend this hotel and the owner and would not hesitate to return. Thank you dominic for making my skepticism into a lovely stay.

This hotel is located a little outside of Royal but is fairly close by. To be quite honest, this hotel is a perfect place to explore this area as it takes two hours to travel there. Where to begin? Checkin was simple because the lovely couple who own the hotel welcomed us to meet us and it was a straightforward process. Our double room was clean but basic, fully air-conditioned and included all the rooms I've known. Our double room had a comfortable double bed, a to, and a large ensure with a good quality shower, but there were a few minor issues with maintenance maters in the ensure, which were cosmetically chipped paint, an inadequate flusher panel, but it would have been nice to have tea or coffee making facilities. No complaints were made because breakfast was abundant and there wasn't anything on hand. Check-out was also simple, hassle-free, you paid for what you received at the end. The host gave us a gift upon departure to thank us for our stay, which was a nice touch and something that many other hotels should do to show their appreciation. We had a good time overall, and our hosts were very nice people, and I would stay here again. I would have liked to give this hotel a 3. 5 rating, but I can't, it's better than a 3 but not quite a 4 in my humble view.

Overall, I was very impressed and believe the location probably deserves another star for the service they provide. The hotel was reserved as a one-night stopover on the way north, although my initial impressions weren't great because it was on a very busy junction with a lot of traffic and the entrance is best from the side road, not the main drag. The location appears odd and somewhat downmarket, but hey, it was an overnight stopover. Looks deceiving! Check-in went well, and the staff was extremely helpful, even transporting our luggage to our room. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, especially the bed, the bathroom was accessible to the disabled, and it was nice to see a thermostatic shower tap that could not be nudged to change the settings. We were given a key to control the car park gates remotely if we returned late in the evening. We chose to eat breakfast, which I attended, and upon arrival, the staff asked how we slept and if I wished I could take a breakfast tray to my partner, who was still in the room.

I'm afraid this hotel came up while searching for beach resorts on the TA website. It is some kg out of royal, in the media area. Royal is devoid of value. The hotel is lovely, but the couple who own it arranged a taxi into town for us but we couldn't get back. In royal at night, there is no public transportation. If we didn't get the lift, we had to rely on some great young people who eventually sped us in their own cars. This is a good choice if you take your vehicle all the time, but it's not directly on the beach!

I and a group of friends stayed there recently. The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for the owner and his lovely girlfriend. We had an evening meal there too cooked by him and it was excellent. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast continental was generous and fresh. Thank you for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable.
