Great location easy to walk to everywhere in Montmare and metro stations. Clean and spacious (For Paris) rooms at a good price. AC during the heat wave was a life saver and the room was very comfortable. We were a bit nervous being on the first floor next to the elevator but the room was very quiet and we slept great. Staff were all very friendly.

We chose the Hôtel Littéraire Marcel Aymé for our last night in Paris and it could not have been a more fitting farewell. Our room with a balcony and a view of the Eiffel Tower was simply magical — there’s nothing quite like ending a France trip with that view at night. The location in Montmartre is ideal. We walked easily to all the spots we wanted to see — Sacré-Cœur, Place du Tertre, the charming backstreets — without needing to think about transport. The neighbourhood itself has such a wonderful energy for an evening stroll. The air conditioning was excellent, which made all the difference after a full day of exploring. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a special place to wrap up a Paris trip, this is it. The atmosphere, the location, the view — all perfect.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, walking distance to the metro and surrounded by great restaurants and bakeries. The staff were all fantastic, and the hotel's theme is worth experiencing, if you are interested in literature or not. The room was quiet and had many nice features (like blackout curtains, tall windows with a fascinating city/street view, good tea and Nespresso coffee, good shower products, etc.). Learning about an author I didn't previously know was an unexpected perk of the trip!

Great location in Montmartre with decor themes that honors one of French's literary great, Marcel Ayme. throughout the hotel. Rooms are clean and small but well configured to be fairly comfortable and functional. The TV satellite included a couple of English speaking stations such as BBC and CNN. The only odd thing about our 2 twin bed room is that the toilet was located in a separate closet versus the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast was included and was standard faire and nothing special. The air conditioning is controlled by the front desk and was not available in April which was fine as we had the windows open at night in upper 40 deg F weather. Staff was helpful and they contract with a shuttle service to the airport for guests at less than a taxi or Uber. Overall, I enjoyed our stay at this hotel and was a great find.

Cute little boutique hotel in the perfect location in Montmarte. Rooms are small but hotel adds such great little extra touches like books and treats in the lobby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Only thing missing was a mini fridge.

Loved the stay and the neighborhood. Surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Few minutes from two metro stops. City central is 20 min by Uber. Away from touristy area but also close to walk to. Will be staying again!
