The staff was helpful and friendly. The downside was that the chocopain in breakfast was lacking in other ibis cheap hotels. Dinner was not offered at the hotel and we felt the walk to local restaurants was too far to go and we didn't want to remount our bikes to get a meal. So we settled for an energy bar in our room, which was less than ideal. By far my biggest bugbear, as we discovered when riding bikes, was that the hotel was poorly marked except on local roads that no cyclist would have considered using, but it was a good signpost. There were several other reasonably priced hotels in the neighborhood, all of which were well marked on local roads, but not the ibis budget word. We mentioned that it took us a while to pinpoint where the hotel actually was and find a safe way to get there. Better signage would have helped. They were aware of the issue and told us that it was not the first time that cyclists had raised this issue with them. Naturally, because the hotel is somewhere far out of town, the vast majority of guests arrive by car or other motorbike, so I guess this is not a priority for them. However, the signage issue is annoying when you can't find a place after cycling all day. As I have already stated, the staff couldn't have been more helpful once we arrived. I'd recommend Ibis if you're traveling and require a place to stay overnight at a fair cost. This one was no exception. It is clean, has parking space, and the people are friendly. The room is small in this price range but the bed is very spacious.

I will visit again. Excellent value hotel on the outskirts of Mongignon, only a short drive from the city center. The room was basic with air conditioning. Room was clean and comfortable, with a supermarket and other amenities nearby. Secure parking is available.
