The hotel is in a very quiet village not far from the motorway, the room was lovely and rustic, very French with a bathroom. The hosts were extremely helpful, the breakfast was in another lovely room, with a good supply of breads, cheese, ham etc.

Booked this hotel to break up the journey down to the alps. Really nice location with stunning courtyard setting perfect for an evening meal. The village itself is beautiful with some great history from the Great War. Will definitely book again.

We made a bit of a mess up with our check in administration but the owner was exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. The property itself is spotlessly clean and in a wonderful location. I highly recommend a relaxing stay here. We wish we had longer and would like to return.

Lovely bed and breakfast in the heart of Champagne countryside. Excellent outdoor areas to relax in and enjoy good company. Great breakfast provided. Staff team were friendly and effective. Bedroom was clean, tidy and comfortable. All that we hoped for.

Served by the owners who could not have been more welcoming or helpful. A wonderful find truly authentic. Fabulous breakfast, Fabulous old farmhouse with gorgeous courtyard & delightful shop with local produce. Could not recommend more highly.

Hotellet er en lille perle. Fantastisk gammelt hus med sjæl og charme. Dejlige afslappende gårdhave med skøn lille butik/café. Hermonville er en lille bitte smuk landsby- midt på Champagne ruten. Lækker morgenmad. Vi vil anbefale alle at lægge vejen forbi.

We were met by the loveliest owners and given we had booked late in the day they didn’t realise we were 4 but sat us down to a lovely glass in the main area which was full of wonderful pieces to look at and sorted it out. The location is idyllic, right in the heart of beautiful Hermonville and the quirky presentation is a feast for the creative eye. The atmosphere is so relaxed. Cleanliness is good and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are also ‘quirky’ and it’s very much a ‘home from home’ feel. We had to leave early so didn’t sample the breakfast but enjoyed our experience anyway.

Mir hat die Lage in dem kleinen Ort gut gefallen. Insgesamt ist das Anwesen sehr überbordend und durcheinander gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind gut geschnitten. Der Gebäudezustand ist etwas marode. Der Garten lädt zum gemütlichen Sitzen ein. Der kleine Shop ist gut gestaltet und einladend. Es gibt ein wirklich sehr leckeres Frühstück.

Where to start… arrived having booked and paid for the gite with a kitchen for the two of us and our dog. We are told it’s not available and we’ve been given a room in the main house. That was ok with us (though meant we had to eat sandwiches) but there was no apology or even good customer attitude - just a sense that we had really put them out by booking a room the day before they had a wedding on. We were then shown the room and told not to touch some of the beds as they were already made up for the wedding!! General horror that we had a dog and he wasn’t to touch anything basically. The room itself - plug sockets hanging off the wall, dusty, curtain rail broken. There is basically no sound proofing so we could hear every word spoken by our next door neighbours and other guests. Didn’t complain about any of this by the way but then checking out was icing on the cake - we were asked to pay a supplement for our dog. Now usually of course I’m happy to do this. But when we’ve been given a room that we didn’t book, not had a kitchen to cook in and not had breakfast really anyone with any customer service would have waived this fee surely? She argued with us and was generally really unpleasant. Can’t understand the good reviews of this place honestly one of the worst we’ve ever stayed in. Oh and it’s not a language thing because I speak fluent French. Also we were told not to park our car in the hotel car park as we would get blocked in so had to go and park in the villa
