I didnt realize I would adore this arts retreat from the pictures I saw here and the Facebook photos. You realize you are staying in an artists home the moment you locate the parking lot on the street directly behind the given address. The parking lot has a black wall that is completely different from anything Ive seen in France thus far. Enter the Eden garden through the gate. Into the wonderful sunroom, where you can enjoy brunch and dinner also. The room we had was unquestionably one of the largest, if not the largest Ive ever stayed in during my travels to Europe over the last 30 years. And for a price that is lower than some of the smallest. As a photographer and visual person, art is everywhere. The bathroom has a spa water shower jets to massage you. The bed has an electronic system so you can raise the bedhead, feet, or both to get really comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. Id love to return and stay somewhere else. For such fun and cost, I dont think you will find a place like this anywhere. The rain prevented us from eating food and wine in the spectacular garden as the only downside to this location. Make it two nights, not just one! The local area is a great location for young people, with many attractions, including chateaux and a castle that is being built not far away.

This is one of the best I've stayed at, with a fantastic dinner and, if possible, an even better breakfast with a memorable homemade rosehip conserve. The room was very comfortable, with the added bonus of a sitting room and a very good bathroom. I will definitely go back and recommend it highly as excellent value for money.

We had a fantastic stay here, and we would stay here again soon. Large bathroom and spacious bedroom. My wife and I stayed here for two nights and had a great time. Both the bathroom and bedroom were immaculate. The owners do not speak English. We didn't have an evening meal here, however the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of jams and more than enough food. The only issue for some may be that there are a lot of stairs to take to the room we were in.
