We stayed at Lance Vieux for three nights with family and friends. We appreciated the wonderful hospitality of dominique and gilles, who helped us organize our stay in Beaujolais. The four bedrooms have been incredibly well-renovated and tastefully renovated. They provide everything you need including a fantastic view of the park and comfy beds. Longing in the bathtub and enjoying the view is a given pleasure. And it's another good thing to stroll in the park before enjoying an aperitif outside. We had a fantastic breakfast in the cozy and charming living room, with homemade pastries and jam. An excellent place to discover Beaujolais or just take a few days off to relax.

We ended the lengthy journey south by staying here. Dominique and her husband are renovating the property, and it's a stunning and charming property. They were so warm and pleasant and the visit was fantastic. Maybe not suitable for those with mobility issues or those who don't like being able to visit homes that are not completely renovated, but if you like a rustic view of French 19th century, this is a fantastic option!.

When travelling south, we typically book hotels along the highway for overnight stays, but this time we decided to do something different and we don't regret it. The welcome was friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was delectable. And the chateau is stunning. Our hosts couldn't be nicer. Many thanks, dominique Gilles.

We were thrilled to spend the night in this hidden chateau with our charming, welcoming hosts, dominique and gilles. We were four adults traveling to this boutique be with our 2-year-old daughter and everything was amazing. Our rooms, which were extremely cozy and tastefully decorated, were situated on the ancient stone stairs. The surprise dinner that dominique cooked us was absolutely delicious, and we had it in the living room by the fire. Breakfast was prepared using fresh ingredients and was generous and delicious. It must be wonderful to eat outside in the charming backyard on sunnier days. Overall, a very unusual, charming, and strongly recommended location!.
