The Hotel is situated in the country and has not much nearby, so if you enjoy the hospitality of the French, you are in the right place! The room is clean, and the bed is comfy. What more do you require? A very good restaurant is included in the location. A park with a short walk and jogging around a small lake is all part of the chalet montegurt. Just a lovely place to stay the night. Breakfast is excellent and unusual in France. And a real French lady dressed like going out will tell you bonjour monsieur. Is there a better way to start the day?.

Overall, we would definitely return. A weird location with extremely quirky but enjoyable decor in a large grounds with a muddy coloured lake. The welcome was great. Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Dinner was excellent, with very efficient and cheerful service, and very tasty food and wine.

I would recommend this hotel. We were traveling with two small dogs and needed to end our long journey. We had not rebooted and were delighted to find a peaceful location not too far from the main road. We were able to have an evening meal and enjoy a peaceful breakfast.

My family and I stayed at the Montegascha resort. The location is very nice and secluded and the hotel looks very pleasant from the outside. But the quality of the hotel and its rooms is very poor and needs renovation. Our bathroom needs to be repaired, and the walls between the rooms are paper thin, so we can hear our neighbours. We were in the Annex and there is no wifi. WiFi only seems to work in the main hotel. Breakfast was mediocre at best, with no hot food and not worth the 15 euros. We had reservations at the last minute based on the fact that they had a pool, which the receptionist confirmed at the time of booking. But on arrival she didn't say that the pool wasn't open yet for the season! I raised this with the female director, and she was totally interested in me or my complaint. I would describe this as more of a youth hostel style accommodation at hotel rates.
