This was such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Also, their restaurant, room service menu, and breakfast are top of class. We stayed on the very top floor.

This is a gorgeous house and setting for exploring the Loire. Dining area is beautifully appointed - windows to the Loire and decorated in an elegant and creative way. In particular they have cleverly designed the lighting to look like small hot air balloons and placed fabric wall coverings to absorb sound. The overall effect is intimate, sophisticated and welcoming. The new restaurant for evening dining was excellent and a wonderful way to end the day! James graciously offered to drive us to our early train when we left. Thank you for a most amazing stay and for your help in answering questions and organizing bicycles. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful manor with stunning grounds. Our room was spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. The breakfast was delicious with many options and the staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Very nice overall experiences, every detail is well thought of. Excellent breakfast especially their home made jam and yogurt. Limited dining options but we tried two restaurants nearby and they both exceed our expectations. Remember to reserve tables as they can go quickly especially during school holidays. Hugh recommend!

The hotel is in beautiful surroundings with lovely spacious rooms, super continental French breakfast. The location is far from city of Tours, needing a car to get there or relying on bus with irregular schedules. Then it’s 20 min walk to access bus or train. Has an easy walk to local town of Montlouis sur loire

A acomodação é espetacular. Muito confortável (cama e chuveiro), e bastante silencioso. Uma linda vista para o rio em frente. Café da manhã muito bom. Lugar para parar o carro disponível dentro da propriedade. O único ponto ruim, é que ficamos no segundo andar, e não tem elevador. Tivemos que subir e descer as escadas com as malas, então essa parte seria o único ponto negativo. O resto é perfeito.

A place that was so comfortable and our hosts James and Celine were very friendly and hospitable. Our room was gorgeous with all the amenities breakfast included had homemade yogurt fruit jams meat and cheese and bread and cakes. Wonderful. Highly recommend

An acquisite sensational experience. The villa is really elegant and incredible trees are included in its park.Breakfast has a number of exquisite fresh and dry fruits and handmade high quality cakes. Our large room with Loire view is very comfortable ! Wonderful!

Séjour très agréable au Clos du Roc. Bien situé près de Tours, de Chenonceau et d'Ambroise. La propriété est magnifique, les propriétaires sympathiques et le petit-déjeuner très bons. Nous sommes Québécois et c'était notre premier séjour dans la région Centre-Val-de-Loire et nous recommandons fortement cet endroit.

Le Clos du Roc is a wonderful escape from the typical busy vacation accommodation. We had an amazing visit and the couple who are the owners & hosts are lovely! We definitely look forward to another visit and strongly recommend a visit in the Tours or Montlouis area.
