De passage dans la région nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner 2 nuits au Manoir de la vieille douve, un très bel établissement, parfaitement bien rénové, dans un cadre très agréable. Nous avons testé la chambre Olive qui est très bien décorée, spacieuse et lumineuse. Le lieux propose une piscine couverte, une salle de sport, une salle de réunion et bientôt tout un programme bien être avec sauna et Hammam. En complément des chambres il est égal possible de résider dans un gîte qui peut accueillir jusqu’à 20 personnes Nelly et Bruno sont des hôtes aux petits soins pour leurs guests

This is our second visit to the Manor de la Ville Dove and we love it. Chris and Charles are great hosts and have always been so friendly to us and our three young children. The rooms are tidy, the breakfast is excellent and the local scenery is wonderful. We travel much throughout Europe and can honestly say this is the best. We'll stay here again soon.

I highly suggest a trip to Le Manor. This was our second visit to the property, and this time the facility had an indoor swimming pool and a games area. Chris and Charles, the hosts, are really friendly and make for a very relaxed stay. Dinner is delicious and well worth including in your stay. Warm croissant odor wafts up the stairs to start your day and you fall asleep at night after eating local food and wines at dinner. There is plenty to see and do in the area, and this chamber hates is far superior to most.

The dining room was very large with twin beds and an impressive en suite. Chris and Charlotte were great hosts and served a fantastic dinner with an apparently endless supply of very good local wines. Definitely stay again and strongly suggest Le Manor. A well worth the trip.

Everything about our stay was exceptional from start to finish. Our hostess, chris, cooked a wonderful fourcourse meal with wine, and a delicious breakfast was served the next day with croissants fresh from the boulangerie and homemade preserves. We discussed politics, wine, and history around the table with other guests and put the world to rest. Our bedroom was large, with antique furnishings and top-notch bedding and towels. The staircase was stunning, and the entire property has been renovated to a very high standard. Although off the beaten track, the manor of la visible dove is definitely worth a detour, and with chris and charles planned to create some gifts in one of the barns along with their already completed large indoor pool, we will definitely come back soon. Thank you for an absolutely great stay. A bento!.

The next time we cross the Channel, we hope to return. On our descent to the Dordogne, and back, we stopped here. A slight detour, but we wanted to see some of the area, and we were aware of all the work that Chris and Charles had been doing through the family. Its such a lovely spot, quiet, and serene, and Chris and Charles are amazing hosts. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished, and equipped with modern amenities. The entire property has been sympathetically restored, and there are exciting plans for the expansion. I wholeheartedly advise requesting an evening meal in advance. I can undoubtedly say that whatever my host is cooking that day is going to be a fantastic dinner all prepared and served in the most amazing kitchen Ive ever seen. Im very jealous. Oh, and dont eat lunch earlier in the day! We were also given some excellent wine. We had two wonderful evenings that culminated with a comfy and peaceful nights slumber. Thank you, Chris and Charles, for making us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful time and really loved your lovely home and all your anecdotes.
