Fantastische ontvangst door de gastvrouw. Ze gaf me ook verschillende restaurant tips in de regio voor een andere keer (het was een maandagavond en alles was gesloten). Ik mocht mijn afhaalpizza in haar eetzaaltje nuttigen. Heel stil op een heuvel gelegen. Fantastische zichten over wijngaarden en Loire rivier. Super ontbijt. Ik kom zeker terug!

We stayed in the wonderful historic moulin meant for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed it here in every way. The multilingual French and German English host, on the other hand, was quite friendly and helpful, giving excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants, as well as serving delicious breakfasts with homemade jams. The location itself was magical, with a creative, weird, and cozy interior design, excellent amenities, and excellent facilities such a wonderful, powerful shower, etc. The surrounding area and 360-degree views of the nearby village church, vineyards, and hills were breathtaking. I personally recommend getting up early for sunrise with a nice coffee, or evening sundown with a glass of local wine, but it's great any time of day. It's also a wonderful quiet, peaceful lodging, and is also close to the village's neighborhood local stores and bars, and of course the lire river. Given the numerous vineyards, it probably goes without saying that it's a fantastic location for wine locally! Else is also well connected to local facilities, which was great because we ended up renting bicycles from her contacts for a few days for a very reasonable price. There is just one thing we would like to change about the stay, and that it would have been longer! We want to return someday, and we would unquestionably suggest this location to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning

On our way down the lire river, we were 10 bikers. Only for one night, we occupied all of the rooms, and we all had a great time. The location is fantastic. I chose a room on the moulin and didn't mind the drape lack because the 360-degree view was amazing. The rooms were very cozy and spotless, breakfast was abundant with homemade jams, and our hostess was a great woman who was happy to tell her story about the moulin and its surroundings.

Our group of cyclists was met on arrival by someone who went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and gave us a detailed tour of the property which is located quite high on the southern side of the lire with impressive panoramic views over the town of rochefort sur lire. Our accommodation was on the side of the moulin and was everything we expected clean, spacious and comfortable. For visitors new to the area there are numerous guides and maps etc. Also, other has extensive local knowledge in English, French and German! The breakfast provided in the communal kitchendining did not disappoint and the wide variety freshly prepared and at the time we requested, we all struggled with lunch that day for obvious reasons.

Although we only spent one night at this chambre dote while traveling along the lire, we would gladly return. The rooms were pleasant and tidy. Unfortunately, the moulin wasn't accessible, but the lovely owner took us through it in the morning. We would stay in the moulin the next time. The 360-degree views from the top-floor lounge are breathtaking. Breakfast was delectable and plentiful, and we spent some time talking with other people about the moulin's past and future operations, as well as more info about the region. A very enjoyable and intriguing visit.

The location is also good. I like the quirky hotel, the staff is so kind and helpful. The breakfast is also excellent. I enjoyed the tower lounge for the 360-degree view and lunch in the garden below.
