The building and the rooms were such a positive surprise, actually way better than expected! We were pleasantly surprised by how well the French preserve their old buildings, and this one was no exception. The staircase utterly charming and the interior renovations done with respect for the authenticity of the building and with lots of originals details, like doors, preserved. We were also pleasantly surprised that we had our own balcony! Everything was clean, the bathroom a little small but well functioning.

Die Lage ist einfach hervorragend. Von der Dachterrasse hat meinen Blick auf das Sacre Coeur, was nur 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt ist. Eine Metrostation ist nur eine Querstraße entfern und eine weitere 7 Gehminuten. Man kommt sehr schnell zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch wenn die Unterkunft nur ein Hostel ist, reicht es vollkommen. Saubere und schöne Zimmer.

My 6 nights in one of the private rooms with a view was very good. The area is pretty quiet in the evenings and the Hostel is very central for walking and transport access to both Montmartre and the rest of Paris. Small elevator but it worked. For me - the shower/bathroom was fine. Room cleaning is every other day- which is plenty for me. There is a nice open terrace and a common room to relax in.

I stayed for 6 nights in one of the single rooms w/view. This is definitely not an American chain hotel- and it is exactly what I wanted. The staff were great, my room was huge by most Paris standards and the view was as promised. There is a small elevator and AC - tho I had no need in late April. There are lots of places to eat and several grocery shops near. I’m definitely looking forward to my next stay.

Perfect! Wonderful view from the room. Wonderful eateries nearby. Comfy bed, room temperature just right. Ideal to chill by the open window, after a busy day sightseeing.
