We would absolutely recommend this establishment as a wonderful stopover. en route to Paris, we made an overnight stop at the hotelrestaurant du canard, 7 rue de la Gare 80310 hangestsursomme. The structure didn't appear particularly appealing because it is directly across from the railway station. However, we were escorted to a sizable room at the back of the hotel, which was exquisitely furnished and furnished. A kettle was provided, which is unusual in French hotels. The bathroom was sizable, with a radiator that produced a lot of heat, which was very welcome in february. There was enough space for a bath, but there was only a shower enclosure there. The dining was excellent, and it was among the finest I'd ever had in France. It was priced reasonably and far superior to many so-called gastronomic offerings I'd ever tried. The owner was really friendly and assisted us in translating some of the more obscure regional dishes on offer. The breakfast was of equal quality.

We ate lunch at this restaurant which is actually in Hangestsursoome about 5 miles off the a on our way back to Calais from Paris. It is a lovely little restaurant and their confit duck is the best we have eaten. It is done quite differently than the traditional dish but really delicious. The service was friendly, the wine was local and nice. It is right by the train station but as a small village stop it is quiet with lots of parking. If you go towards Calais don't go for the a sign because it forces you to go south toward Paris to the next junction, which is about 10 miles away. Instead, head north on d 1001 to pick up the a. It has accommodation too but I can't comment as I didn't check it out. Put.
