This hotel is wonderful in every way. We stayed on half board for a week and both the evening meal and the room were fantastic, as was the cleanliness. The entire staff, from reception to the dining room, was friendly and helpful, making our stay a pleasant one. The only little complaint was that there were no tea making facilities in the room.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Spain and England. I think this hotel is a 5 star facility. The staff are very good and the meals are good and the sleep is good too.

The gallon, on the other hand, appears to be a worn-out, unkempt seaside town hotel from the outside. The facade is next in the owners' ongoing renewal effort, but once inside the reception and morning eatery, everything is new, well-thought out, and in excellent taste. The gallon, which is a discreet mom-and-pop hotel two streets back from the seafront, was taken over by the current proprietors just over two years ago. Since I'm curious so sue me, it has been a work in progress. The communal areas on the ground floor have been stripped to the core and rebuilt, half of the bathrooms in ours were excellent in both aesthetics and space usage, and all the beds are new. So, everything is fine, and things only get better in the future. The swimming pool area is stunning and well maintained, and it is also the location of the hotels excellent nightclub and bar, which received another star rating elsewhere. Yet these are not the most important selling points. The service is the owner's attention to detail and their guests' needs and comfort are above and beyond. These people are building a hotel to be proud of and leave nothing to chance from cleanliness to attentive hospitality to intrusive friendliness. Our pleasure was staying at your hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and there is a very welcoming atmosphere. I should also mention the suppers, which were excellent! We had a wide variety of meals every day, and everything was excellent. Thank you very much to the staff at the restaurant and reception!.

For the trip back to the uk from Spain, my wife and I stayed here on Sunday night. The owners at Le Clos Saint who had otherwise let us in as we arrived after their rp check-in time had let us down. This after we had driven roughly 500 miles through Spain to get there. After a long journey through Spain, we eventually arrived at Le Gallon late on Sunday evening, and Collioure was on lockdown due to the corona virus. The owner made us feel very welcome, and we had a delicious breakfast the following morning before giving us some valuable advice for where to get our husky inoculations before going back to the uk. The wife and husband team provided excellent service. When things get back to normal, we will return. Thank you very much.
