We booked this hotel just because it said it had parking and restaurant and we were on a long drive to calais and needed a place to sleep. Such a pleasant surprise. Very helpful staff and right in the center of the small town. The room was comfortable and clean with all amenities and the breakfast was great. This is another restaurant, I will look at it separately.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable even though the entrance is a bit strange. We felt at home in the room we had, which was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and professional. It was a pleasure to visit them.

After cycling from Toulouse for 5 days, we were lucky to discover this gem when looking for a place to celebrate. The staff was incredibly accommodating, finding a secure location for our bikes and making a 05. 00 departure owing to a grave on the railway. Although somewhat tiny, the recently renovated room had a bathroom of comparable size. Very elegant, spotless, and smart, despite the fact that there was just a tiny curtain in the bathroom that was rather disturbing at night. The restaurant staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the food was excellent, at reasonable pricing. One fish and one soup to begin, a couple of small guesses. Warm oysters followed, and then an excellent magnet de canard in a rich brown sauce. My partner chose a tomato salad with warm goat's cheese, followed by artichokes stuffed with fois gras. A lovely souffle and multilayered mousse were the desserts. A perfect treat!.

I've had lunch and dinner at the garrote restaurant for at least twenty years, and most of the time, lunch. We typically chose the detour du marche to check for new ideas from the chef. This menu is updated each week. It's always wonderful, and when it's exceptional, which is often, we go there twice a week. Garrote recently received one star from michelin. I'm not sure why they ever got it away, but I believe it's only a matter of time before they acquire two stars. In my travels, I've encountered restaurants that are comparable in elegance and professionalism, but they are usually three times more costly. In essence, a fantastic wine list, fantastic and attentive service. Outdoor dining under a canopy of three hundred year-old platine trees. Fantastic food. A restaurant of the highest caliber.

What I like about the hotel, the room layout is done well, as well as the service is quite good, like the transformation and modernization of the rooms. The only thing that didn't good about this hotel is the breakfast menu which is basic for the price and there is no tea making in the room.
