Good clean condition. The restaurant was absolutely lovely. I ate breakfast dinner and evening meal here over three days and the staff were excellent, and service brilliant.

If you want to travel alone, this hotel is a good option. The location is near Zurich Lake. The breakfast is included in the room rate. They served a delicious breakfast.

The bed here was so old. The dorm room had a large window that provided so much air and sunshine. The breakfast was so good with the free breakfast. The location is close to the train station and public transport. The lake and opera house were nearby, and restaurants and coffee shops were nearby.

In the heart of Zurich is a lovely little hostel. You can enter the hostel from a historic area full of little stores, restaurants, and cafes when you exit it. There is plenty of public transportation, but the train station is only a short walk away. They also have a small kitchenette area that doubles as a common space, which is a good place to sit in and relax in the evening. We were able to prepare sandwiches with the facilities but weren't prepared to the fullest. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also quite beautiful. Overall, I recommend staying here.

Overall, it does the job if you're on a tight budget. The breakfast at the cafe pub was also included in the price. The service staff was great. The corridor looks a bit dodgy, but the room is clean and the bathroom is decent. Having facilities like a pantry with teacoffee and lockers in the room and the common room are a bonus. It was a bit noisy at night but still bearable.

The evening meal was superb. Breakfast was frugal; we had to ask for croissants since none were left after other diners had taken 2 each whereupon the owner brought my wife and I a croissant each on a tray.

Magnifique hôtel ! Nous étions dans l’annexe mais nous avons été choyés. C’est un établissement familial avec un personnel d’une extrême gentillesse, attentionné avec ses clients et qui vous indique des lieux à visiter. La restauration est excellente.
