Nous sommes venus avec mon mari sur un week end et nous avons été éblouis par le havre de paix que nous propose Karine et Emmanuel. La chambre nuptiale avec sauna est très agréable et confortable. La literie est parfaite et le petit déjeuner est succulent et très complet ! De quoi bien se reposer et repartir en pleine forme. De plus les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse et d'une bienveillance incroyables. Leurs conseils sont précieux et leurs sourires font du bien. Ce fut une très belle rencontre et nous gardons leur adresse pour revenir. Merci encore à eux d'être les personnes qu'ils sont et de proposer leur petit coin de paradis. Nous recommandons vivement !

I heartily endorse this French region and the Maison Bizienne. In April, we visited and had a wonderful time. Despite the language barrier, the proprietors were lovely and incredibly friendly. We remained in the family suite in the main house, the accommodation was lovely, with a great attention to detail in the decoration but still being cozy. In the best possible way, this is very shabby chic. We had plenty of space, and the travel cot was perfect for our little girl. The owners even handed us a bottle of local muscatel, bags of the renowned grande sea salt, and delectable salted caramels. The accommodation was very tidy, the beds were all comfortable, the shower was spacious, and many lovely towels and toiletries were left out for us. Breakfast was superb the dining area itself was tastefully decorated, but the meals were divine. homemade jams, bread, crepes, pain perdu, yogurts, even chocolate spread alongside local honey, juices, and just beautiful coffee. Our year-old loved the homemade yogurt and granola. The homemade yogurt and granola were fantastic for our year-old. I especially appreciated the coconut financiers delivered every morning! This place has really good cleanliness, and also the decoration of the room, it is nicely decorated with comfortable bed, and we make sure it is complete. There are also nice evening tapas with a wide range of local wine options in a tranquil secluded garden. The first meal we had at breakfast was homemade fillets from Bertrand and fresh local food, this place is very special and unique.

The hotel is in a walking distance to the ancient city of grande. Our host welcomed us with open arms and gave us wonderful tips on how to eat. The room was clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of coffee, bread and specials each morning.

My partner and I stayed at Maison Bizienne for a week at the beginning of September. The room was large and very comfortable, with a large safe and a view of the lovely garden. The only downside was no air conditioning in this particular room, but Bertrand, our very charming and considerate host, managed to find a fan for us to use. Breakfast was a pleasure every day, with Bertrand or his partner antony providing details of local ingredients used for the various breads, crepes, cakes, muffins, jams and preserves that were served each morning, not to mention the various fruit juices, teas and coffees. Bertrand made most of the cakes and preserves himself and clearly enjoyed giving guests a wonderful breakfast experience by setting out different tableware, china, and utensils every day. My French is poor and neither bertrand nor antony have great English, so our communication was often interspersed with references to dictionaries, but it was always done patiently and with good humor. The hotel is located on a quiet street about 50 meters from the grande city walls. Parking is available on the street, but finding a space just outside the property was never a problem. Because it was private and being in someones home, Ive never stayed at a bed and breakfast. This was my first, and I was pleasantly delighted. We had the impression of owning our own apartment because the rooms were spacious. The accommodations were spotless and exquisitely decorated. Even a bag of salt was given as a surprise by the owner. As you can tell, everything was done with great care to make the stay enjoyable, pleasant, and memorable. I was given a key to go whenever. Bertrand and his friend ensured we had a relaxing stay and that breakfast was memorable. They included helpful information and suggestions for things to do. If ever visit grande, I heartily endorse this location. They even have bikes that can be borrowed and used. It's, in my opinion, free. Good, spacious, clean rooms that are welldesigned to give off a wonderful vibe. The location is excellent. The old city is two minutes away, and if you have a vehicle, parking is available in front of the hotel. Because it is only one space, reserve it. The shoreline, salt marshes, and megalithic monuments are both within driving distance. This monument is a must-see. incredible! nice yard where you can unwind and relax.
