Maison Orsini ligger mycket vackert i en superfin del av staden. Väldigt mysigt och gott om områden för fina promenader med hunden. Folco är en supertrevlig värd och var väldigt uppmärksam och omtänksam.

This hotel is very unique - in an old cardinal's residence located in Villeneuve just west across the river from Avignon. Despite being in a substantial old stone building full of character, the rooms were very comfortable, clean, etc. The hotel also has a beautiful garden area with terrace overlooking the river. Parking is on the street next to the hotel, but very safe. The staff are friendly, efficient, and helpful, provided dining recommendations and introduced us to Villeneuve, which is the wonderful neighborhood where the hotel is located. We were very happy to stay outside the busy town of Avignon. We also visited Pont du Gard after checkout, so the hotel's location just west of Avignon made driving there much easier. We would return to the hotel for any future stays in Avignon.

이번 프랑스 여행에서 가장 잘 한 일 중 하나는 이곳에서 숙박한 일입니다. 도착과 동시에 너무 따뜻하게 맞이해 주시고 아주 상세하게 많은 것을 설명해 주셨어요. 매일 정돈해주시는 침대는 얼마나 편안한지! 오래된 마을에서의 숙박은 두근두근 너무 근사했습니다. 아침엔 정갈하고 맛있는 식사를 하고 (주스와 커피를 둘 다 마시세요. 정말 맛있습니다!) 조용하지만 의외로 볼 게 많은 동네를 선택하고 돌아와 테라스에서 강을 바라보면 마음이 충만해집니다. 아비뇽 시내에서 버스로 10분 정도라서 의외로 접근성이 나쁘지 않아요. 혼자 차 없이 여행하는 사람들도 편안하게 숙박할 수 있습니다. 버스도 자주 오고 택시 불러도 굉장히 빨리 와요. 저녁식사를 꼭 하고 싶었는데 식사 가능한 날에 풀북이어서 너무 아쉬웠습니다. 다음엔 꼭 다시 와서 식사도 하고 싶네요. 마지막으로 정말 따뜻하게 반겨주시고 불편한 점이 있는지 세심하게 신경써주셔서 감사했습니다. 덕분에 프랑스에 따뜻한 기억을 가지고 떠납니다.

Anbefales på det sterkeste. Helt unik opplevelse. En gammel familie villa fra 1300 tallet med en unikt antikk tilværelse. Om du er ute etter noe gammelt som matcher byen historie, med hyggelige verter er dette en utmerket plass.

Maison Orsini is a beautiful selection of historic buildings that open onto a courtyard and garden. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and the views from the Maison over Avignon and beyond are spectacular. About 20 minutes will walk you over to Avignon or there is a bus at the bottom of the road. Villeneuve Les Avignon is a lovely town with great places to eat and a castle overlooking the countryside. Our host, Folco, could not have been more helpful and supplied a wonderful breakfast every morning which was composed of local produce including cheeses, ham, bread, fruit and other food. Folco is also a great help in recommending restaurants and activities. He was a superb host. I could go on, but it would be fair to say that Maison Orsini was one of the best places we have ever stayed, we were looked after so well and we absolutely would go back again. The views alone from the terrace as you eat your breakfast are justification enough to book.

A real pearl! Nice rooms and surroundings, great views to the Palais des Papes and Mont Ventoux! Falco is very welcoming host! We will definitely recommend to stay here although it is on the other side of the river from Avignon.

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this isn't the place. If you want to experience French hospitality in an authentic setting, i recommend WITHOUT RESERVATION. The owner was so nice snd accommodating and made great recommendations for restaurants that served only what was in season. In addition, they had their own "pop up" restaurant onsite. We had one of the best meals imaginable with a 4 course pre-fixed menu. Also central for visits to Nimes, Arles, Pont du Garde and other locals.

We had an unbelievable experience staying here. The property is gorgeous from the beautiful room, views of the city, quiet neighborhood and the pool in what felt like a “Secret Garden”. Folco was a kind and attentive host who went out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We highly recommend!!
