We ended up in it etienne de Buggory by mistake not realizing the hotel was 3 am from town but when we called for directions the owner came to collect us. Lovely room, delicious food and local wine from a nearby vineyard is definitely worth trying. I would definitely recommend it and if doing the grab take the undo escape route at col. Harriet as the hotel is in undo.

On a walking holiday I stayed in the Hotel Restaurant Manechenea. The owner and manager are really nice people. The room was good, the room was clean and had lots of hot water but the food and service were excellent. The food menu on the terrace was very local but was very good and the service was excellent.

This peaceful area is in the countryside. The rooms and bathrooms are recently furnished, contemporary, and spotlessly clean. A great bed and a shower with ample hot water. On a shaded patio with a view of a creek, hearty and very delicious local dishes are served. The manechenea has pretty much everything you need for an overnight stay on a tour or walking vacation in the area, with easy access from the main road by car and to catch on foot. On weekends, large family groups come to the hotel for lunch.

Excellent accommodation modern, clean and roomy. The restaurant is a popular choice for nonresidents, especially locals, and serves excellent food. Very friendly service. Quiet location and quite remote. The parking area is good.

Ano and his family are very nice hosts who give hospitable hospitality in a beautiful environment. There is a sense of community love, which is evident in the welcoming and delicious meal. We only stayed one night but would happily stay off longer because the hiking in the area is amazing.
